  • If we are comparing current price levels with (Nov) last year, is it not "fair" to the system to factor in a certain level of general inflation / RPI / CPI or whatever as a base for comparison? Loath as I am to say so.
Not really the consumer inflation figures say for October went up , yes you guessed including, and mainly because of energy costs.

  • I guess I see your point about inflation, in that the buying power of e.g. 25p now is slightly different from what it was then.  But, that's far too complicated for my brain to think about.  And it's not like we're comparing it to the 90s, or any different decade.

Looks like 13.1p for me tomorrow. I'll certainly be making the most of that. Those on Agile will be treated to a long negative period overnight and into the morning too.

great to see tracker has droped its price as it has a knock on effect with agile, agile price shows up about 4.30pm for the following day, current prices shows up till 10.30pm for tonight that price gives u a good idea for night rates, today its showing from 9.30pm-10 4pkwh down to -4pkwh at 10.30pm
so i'm looking at at least 2 washes during the night, if i can get out to the shops due to snow i would get some mince or stewing steak for the slow cooker and freeze it, ive got a cpl of tshirts that needs ironing so they will be getting done
or i could get on the bus £4 return pop into tescos and a cpl of beers in the pub before i come home

Here is the wholesale price hourly breakdown for tomorrow, this should be a pretty good guide to figure out Agile pricing early. For reference, the 11pm-12am slot overnight tonight is £12/MWh and that had one half-hour of negative Agile pricing associated with it. You will probably get some negative pricing tomorrow night as well.

Only email I've received so far is about the 'Pink Friday' rubbish.

Fingers crossed there's a free electricity one on the way?

    EDIT:  And it's arrived!  :)
