I guess I see your point about inflation, in that the buying power of e.g. 25p now is slightly different from what it was then. But, that's far too complicated for my brain to think about. And it's not like we're comparing it to the 90s, or any different decade.

Looks like 13.1p for me tomorrow. I'll certainly be making the most of that. Those on Agile will be treated to a long negative period overnight and into the morning too.

so i'm looking at at least 2 washes during the night, if i can get out to the shops due to snow i would get some mince or stewing steak for the slow cooker and freeze it, ive got a cpl of tshirts that needs ironing so they will be getting done
or i could get on the bus £4 return pop into tescos and a cpl of beers in the pub before i come home0 -

For reference, the 11pm-12am slot overnight tonight is £12/MWh and that had one half-hour of negative Agile pricing associated with it. You will probably get some negative pricing tomorrow night as well.1 -
