Now I'm disappointed...

What’s the general feeling about the situation with Russia and the impact it could have on energy costs? The current fixed deal with zero exit fees is looking quite tempting now with a lower rate than Tracker (but higher standing charge).
Last time it all kicked off we were paying 40p/11p per unit at the lower caps on Tracker V3 until the Government stepped in. The £1/30p caps could mean scary winter bills.0 -
If you are of a nervous disposition then there is no time like the present to act. But remember that Trump is going to end the war within a day of being sworn in...Personally, I'll be riding it out and if things go too far south, I'll just jump onto Flexible, which kicks the can down the road another quarter and would allow me to see out the winter. Though I expect things won't be that bad and I'll jump to Agile at the appropriate time.2

I got an email to say they had to move me because the previous tariff no longer existed. They gave me an extra month and minimal compensation but it was better than being put on the April tariff. I decided not to pursue a complaint because it allowed me to go on the December tariff which was better in the long term. (The move wasn’t until about May so the bills were backdated to March when they stopped calculating Nov 22 figures)1

If we are comparing current price levels with (Nov) last year, is it not "fair" to the system to factor in a certain level of general inflation / RPI / CPI or whatever as a base for comparison? Loath as I am to say so.Telegraph Sam
