  • The next interesting thing is for those without smart meters are their emails different?

Does it say you need a smart meter to continue on tracker?

  • Any way you can get estimate new costs from Feb?
Octoprice lets you put in the different tracker tarriffs.

    https://octopriceuk.vercel.app/tracker

It does not have rates from Feb only older Tracker.
I want to check if anyone has estimation of Feb 15th onwards

Also my understanding based on wording in the email
  • I was on a fixed term until June but still got the email. I have challenged it but don’t hold out much hope. At least in Yorkshire the increases aren’t as severe as elsewhere.

I hope you have a screenshot of that?

Yes they do. It's come up a few times. However, the previous fixed term variant did not have protection from a formula change like the current version does. T&Cs are clear that if you joined Tracker prior to 11th December they could change the formula after giving reasonable notice.
I suppose their might be an argument to push for the original expiry date not to be extended, on the assumption Octopus will not be looking to change the formula again before then...

If my memory is correct Griffindog as well as others had fixed term status removed  a few weeks ago, I think on basis was a mistake.to put on fixed term, ( did not get a renewal email offering a further 12 months on tracker from June 23)
