The only confusing thing is that now if I look on the app, it says I am on Octopus Tracker and "Fixed term ends 27/11/2024" - I was not signing up for any fixed term and the boxes I had to sign up to said that I could leave anytime (but it might take up to 2 weeks to take effect)?0 -

The prior fixed term versions of Tracker had no exit fees, but they did have lower price caps, so if you are on one of those all the better for you.

This doesn't seem to be the most recent tracker tariff as that is "Tracker February 2023".
I guess it doesn't make any difference as long as it doesn't hit the cap

Product cap is the same as Octopus Tracker February 2023 v10 -
I guess they just pick the one they find first! Given that government support is definitively not happening this year, it is of no consequence which you are on, other than possibly giving you an out in 12 months time without the 9 month wait to return?

Electric going over 22p tomorrow, but given its cold, with no wind, and it seems to be the lowest wind for the next 2 weeks, and gas prices arent going up, think I can live with that.1

Out of interest, as per gastracker, mysmartenergy or who?
I found surprisingly last time I looked that there was a slight discrepancy (for the North East) but I didn't follow it upTelegraph Sam
There are also unknown unknowns - the one's we don't know we don't know0 -

Some dips down to -5oC round these parts until the 6th December so the heat pump cop is going to take a beating and it's time to fire up the tree we cut down two years ago to supplement the heating.
For those interested with the outside garage and seperate office with air to air heat pump units and the main house with ASHP washing tumble drying cooking and all those fun things we will break 40kwh electricity a day or very close.
This is definitely a much colder start to winter than last year so we expect 500kwh extra use Dec-Feb.0 -
