It shouldn't matter if the two readings are not totally in sync. Provided that they don't chop and change it should be "seamless" swings and roundabouts. If they are happy to go by my manual reads that suits me.Telegraph Sam

Well I've tried submitting a manual reading, just to see if it will generate a bill. It was rather annoying to have to go outside to the meter, fiddle around with the menu system to find the correct individual register to provide (since I have usage on 2 registers, but only one is currently used). We shall see if it kicks Kraken into action.

Agile is often more expensive overnight, but nobody can predict the future. Here's comparative pricing for the past few days:1

I think there is some mathematical wheeze that computes the total area under each graph, to make them more compable. The further back the data extends into the past, the less the uncertainty - in theory - in predicting the future statistically. But not Putin-proof.Telegraph Sam

Quite the cold spell til mid December when we should get some milder weather on the long range forecasts.
However will be happy if tracker stays at the average 21p mark for our region so let's see what this week brings.
A marked difference to last November/December according to my records from last year.3 -
I've a load of white towels that wants washing at 60 per-cent and grudge doing it unless 20p or below. I've being spolit recently with very good rates......1
