The latest Hugo app now supports Octopus Tracker and Agile for working out costs.
Can’t get Hugo app to work never picks up gas usage electric is fine
You'd need to send a fault email to Hugo support to alert them to this missing data, to get them to hopefully fix this issue for you.

They are generally pretty good at sorting these issues out, but could take a while as they use a different 3rd party access route to your meter data separately from Octopus.
  • So finger in the air predictions. Tuesday and Wednesday look good. Dont plan to use much electricity Thursday and Friday this week. We could have a nice cheap weekend Saturday and Sunday.so you could save the big energy use until then.

ive added a £1 and no referral applied, and how do i find out about the free electric
your right tomorrow is cheap which is good to know
So no one knows yet when the free electricity will be or for how long
Logic probably dictates it will likely be a) when its very windy, b) at a weekend when demand is lower, and more than likely c) both.

Indeed but for those tracker newbies that want to forecast themselves they can now and they can plan to a certain degree of certainty. Storm Debi meaning a good start to he week it seems.

I have also found the emoncms site also helps friends and family understand tracker prices and feel a little better about a potential move to tracker.
  • just called octopus up, they were great
my transfer date was on sat gone and  they have backdated the tracker to the date i joined
oh and my 50 quid referral has been applied, all good stuff

Today seems to be the peak of the wind for the next week, so if the free power is not happening today, it wont happen all week.

The free power is going to be an interesting one as this is Octopus only I think so not necessarily when we may expect it.

They might even look at all the smart meter and pick a time when x% of their customer base won't be able to make use of it. (That's the cynic in me)

I also suspect they won't offer a free energy session until the DFS event is underway so customer get used to the alerts/WhatsApps/emails etc.
  • another cheap day tomorrow 17.88p
  • I'm going through my delayed backlog of elec invoices. In my case there is only a very limiited potential for any significant  load shifting. Looking throuh the entries I can't see any obvious gaps in consumption. Short of doing random spot checks on recorded kWh and prices I can't really fault the invoices now that meter readings are included.  I'm not sure what the extra benefit would be from getting into bed with Hugo etc. Any glitches would change all that.
