My imagination - is there not something similar on Twitter? Or some way of MSE Octopus people making contact?Telegraph Sam

They were tweeting alerts during the last round of sessions. Perhaps they will again. I hope so, as I don't use Meta stuff.

I am accustomed to downloading electricity consumption data in csv format from the website. But when I try to replicate the procedure with gas no data is downloaded. Does anyone else have the same problem? Or know the cause and cure?Telegraph Sam

Bit of a jump tomorrow with the low wind.1

According to some other forums I’m reading it will be even worse than expected as there are 2 inter connectors with unplanned outages since yesterday and several nuclear reactors offline for refuelling.0

Nuclear generation is only 0.7GW less than it was this time last week, so I wouldnt be overly concerned. Energy from France only marginally down too.0

Apologies in advance for stupid questions. I've all the gear and little idea.We are with Octopus for gas and electric. I fixed the gas, and also the electric export, but we are on the standard variable electric for import. Earlier this year we installed a 4kw solar system, with 9.6kw of batteries. We are low users, only using 6-9 kw per day. On sunny days we are still getting enough solar to cover 75% of our daily usage, but of course these are few and far between. I was reluctant to move to Agile, as we tend to find if we do have energy in the batteries, at this time of year it tends to run out during the 4-7pm peak rate. I think I'm right that the Tracker rates vary by day, but not by daypart? We don't currently charge the batteries from the grid (need to investigate how to do this).Would the Tracker look like a good option for us do you think?Make £2025 in 2025
