My smart phone is not smart and my tablet is pre-historic. I will campaign for the website to be "retro-updated".Telegraph Sam
There are also unknown unknowns - the one's we don't know we don't know0 -
The app requires Android 8. I have no idea what age the oldest devices to have recieved it could be, but if you know what android version your tablet has then at least you'll know either way.
It is annoying the reading history has been removed from the website though, one of the things I really appreciated about Octopus was the website was fully functional and you didn't *have* to have the app.0 -

Mobile: Android 13. Is the app mobile friendly?

I will withhold judgement until I have tried the app. It cannot claim to be stable.Spreadsheets are a no-no.Telegraph Sam

I think we're good until the end of the month now at the leastTracker pricing will be inversely proportional to weather stability, and of course geopolitical events also have a significant influence. A prolonged settled (weather) period with low wind will drive up the price as demand for fossil fuels will be high. Rainfall has little effect on price as solar generation dwindles in the winter months, whereas wind tends to reduce prices. As temperatures continue to fall, demand rises and so does the gap between supply and demand, with the masses on SVT competing for wholesale gas. That said, the weather has been fairly typical of the season over much of the UK. Even many of those in the regions affected by the storms didn't personally observe anything out of the ordinary for the time of year. The more extreme effects seemed very localised. Some sub-zero daytime temperatures in combination with no wind are the conditions to watch out for.I would love to be proven wrong on this and see the unit price stay at or around 20p for the whole of the winter period, but I doubt this will actually happen.

I suspect the website will eventually have this feature restored.0

Imagine this happening when there's a huge area of blocking high pressure sitting over the whole of northern Europe maybe for a couple of weeks - light winds, temperatures below or near freezing, fog just lifting into low cloud during the day if it lifts at all.
High gas usage this coming winter would also presumably affect prices going into spring as stocks would need to be built up again ready for winter 24/25.1 -
More cause for concern about gas than electricity as far as Tracker prices are concerned? Is one more volatile than the other?Telegraph Sam
