How much is it down as a percentage from the price cap? We don't have gas.

Dunno yet, tomorrow's price won't be available until 6pm or so.

You get the feeling its only going one way though.

Gas price very much affects the leccy price of course.

Probably a combination of political events and the expectation that a lot of people switch their heating on as the weather is turning cold enough to require heating from today onwards for a lot of people.

If it's like other types of makets like investments, probably it will spike up for some days and then settle back lower but at a higher rate than before.

Agile is also all over the place this week - plunge pricing on some days and much higher than tracker on others.

Found it so for our region gas tracker is 17% cheaper than the price cap rate per kwh tomorrow.

Octopus referrals only apply to switches when someone has not been an Octopus customer for at least 12 months.

Probably because it's windy and heating demand is still low, I guess....
  • daft question, the price that it shows via octopus site for both gas and electric does the price it shows inc any daily charge or is that to be inc
i am seeing on the faq about daily unit rate there is a SC, which is a bit steep about 7.1p pkw to be added on?
