Probably a combination of political events and the expectation that a lot of people switch their heating on as the weather is turning cold enough to require heating from today onwards for a lot of people.la531983 said:

If it's like other types of makets like investments, probably it will spike up for some days and then settle back lower but at a higher rate than before.
Agile is also all over the place this week - plunge pricing on some days and much higher than tracker on others.0 -

Found it so for our region gas tracker is 17% cheaper than the price cap rate per kwh tomorrow.la531983 said:

daft question, the price that it shows via octopus site for both gas and electric does the price it shows inc any daily charge or is that to be inc
i am seeing on the faq about daily unit rate there is a SC, which is a bit steep about 7.1p pkw to be added on?0
