mysmartenergy.uk updates the next day similarly. They've only recently added next day for my area, London, but it seems to work well.. gas is there early and electricity later in the day. I like the graph too.0

I’m having problems with Octopus over Tracker. I asked to switch to Electric Tracker on the 10th of July it took till the 9th of August to complete. At the same time they switched my Gas Tracker V2 to flexible. I didn’t request this. Octopus didn’t inform me of this nor give any reason for doing it. They haven’t replied to emails querying the unwanted change of tariff. So I’ve sent a complaint email which they acknowledged immediately saying how busy they are.
Can anyone suggest a possible reason why they switched my Gas tracker to SVT or offer advice please?

I also requested to switch to Electric Agile and in that case, it does acknowledge that there is a request in process on the website. I then received an email the same day that the new Agile tariff was ready and I just have to click to accept the T&C, but when I tried to do that it says my smart meter is not working! However they had just billed me on Octopus Go the day before with all smart meter data present and correct.
I have wrote an email to Octopus to clarify. If they don't reply I will contact them on Twitter or whatever it's called now - I found weirdly that they seem to respond faster on Twitter.1 -
Been on tracker for 6 weeks now and saved over £80 so far compared to the price cap SVT.
Can't fault it and will look to swap to cosy Octopus in November til tracker rates historically go down.
I see tracker as a 8-10 month tariff then Cosy for the other months.0 -
