I don’t have smart meter for gas but I do for electricity and am on Go Faster 5hours from 20:30hrs. (No longer available to new customers)SJMALBA said:tlcgrantham said:
For me too. Well done. I’ve just completed 2 months on Gas Tracker and have averaged under 5pkw/h saving over 35% or £20 compared to the SVT though £8.60 of that was the lower standing charge.QrizB said:k_man said:
Ooooh the excitement 😁QrizB said:OK, let's try this again.- Electricity: Nordpool average £158.49p/MWh (15.849p/kWh) so Tracker rates similar to 7th June - around 27p/kWh.
- Gas: Marex NPP all-day DA average 147p/therm (5.02p/kWh) so Tracker rates similar to 1st June - around 7p/kWh.
It's not quite the National Lottary draw, is it
So what do we have?- Electricity: 15.875p/kWh wholesale, Tracker 27.2xx-28.3xxp.
- Gas: 4.934p/kWh wholesale, Tracker 6.6xx-6.8xx p.
Nice! BTW, do you have a smart meter?
Over a month and a half, to the end of May, Tracker v2 for gas and electricity saved me 23%, so not in the same league as your saving, but I'm still quite pleased with it.

I was told that it is a hexadecimal error which equates to zero consumption. I have had it from time-to-time on two sets of smart meters (different manufacturers and models).MWT said:Alnat1 said:Almost a whole years gas recorded as being used between 7.30 and 8am on Saturday!!!
I think the problem was the new gas meter was showing 9999 rather than 0 and took from 8th to the 11th to get to 0. Could take some time to sort out and maybe I won't get switched until it's sorted.Usually the crazy high usage is where an error code from the meter is interpreted as a consumption figure. The Octopus systems filter those out, but Bright and N3rgy report them as data regardless.0 -
Just so long as Octopus don't try and charge me, hopefully it's an obvious glitch to themBarnsley, South Yorkshire

Marex's average DA price for tomorrow is 161p/therm, 5.495p/kWh, pretty much the same as today.(It's the good weather, there's very little wind around and not enough solar to make up for it.)
