    There's a relationship but not a direct one. It also depends on other sources of electricity.
    The past few days have been settled, so not much wind to reduce the gas demand. The wind seems to be picking up for the weekend so that should also help reduce the price of power.

    Significant drop in wholesale today; I reckon electricity tomorrow circa. 26.9p/kWh... hopefully!

    ~6.8p monday

    If I've calculated that correctly. 
    4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.

    I can now read this thread with even more interest, Octopus managed to switch me to Tracker today after my request last week.

    Worked out ok, I missed some of the more expensive days  ;)

    They back dated me from the date I was switched to them on the 10th from yesterday when they confirmed it.
