Octopus Tracker

I requested to be added to the tracker a few days ago, before that I think I put in a request in April but I've heard nothing. Is there a long list of customers wanting to change to the tracker? That's the only reason I can think of that I haven't being put on tracker yet.Spies said:
They sent me an email with a link as soon as I requested it (via twitter) , it was effective from the next day.wild666 said:Does anyone know how long it takes to get on the tracker once you register an interest in it?Someone please tell me what money is0 -

Odd, I feel like I have an almost personal relationship with them sometimes, I sent them a DM on twitter late yesterday evening about my standing charge showing wrong on the Bright app (DCC sourced) and they pushed a fix immediately and sure enough, it was fixed this morning.wild666 said:

For my energy region, it's 37.05p/kWh. 😲Spies said:

To date, despite the high prices of the last while, the average daily unit rate for June is still below SVT, though the way things have been going, that may not be the case at the end of the month...
I'm on v2, so have lower standing charges, and when coupled with lower energy use at this time of year, I’m staying... for the time being, at least.

My thoughts are that we will see a new v4 tracker with a higher KWhr caps introduced before October, so if you revert back to the SVT then no way back to the current rates. It is the same sort decision others have to make around the current customer only fixed rates deals from other suppliers, paying more now till October (although with the tracker your might pay less) and knowing you are probably below the expected Oct 1 and probably Jan 1 price capped SVT.If the calculations are are wrong you have option with no exit fees of going back to the price cap SVT. So from my perspective the current v3 product is good deal for those who were SOLRd like me.0
