Actual for today... 30.98p/kWh
Electricity up again today; my guesstimate for tomorrow: 33.5p/kWh
I think we have to wait later in the day to have a go at gas?

The Gas futures are well up, Russia has been cutting supply's to Germany & Italy amongst as they say they are awaiting return of equipment for NS1, but the feeling is they are reducing supply to drive up prices.

Spies said:8.2-8.3p tomorrow I think?Tomorrow's a tricky one to forecast - Marex lists a high of 265p/therm, a low of 90p and an average of about 185p. With a spread that wide it's hard to guess where in the range Octopus will pick.If Octopus base their price on:
- the "high", that's 9p/kWh wholesale and a Tracker price around 11.5p/kWh (as 16/03/22)
- the "average", it's 6.3p/kWh and a Tracker price around 8.2-8.4p/kWh (as 13/04/22)
- I'm not going to calculate for the low - but if we get that, we'll all be happy

They used 193.495 as the therm price in their calcs which is 4.6% over the average therm, would be interesting to see if a trend appears over time.QrizB said:Spies said:8.2-8.3p tomorrow I think?Tomorrow's a tricky one to forecast - Marex lists a high of 265p/therm, a low of 90p and an average of about 185p.
