It's not quite the National Lottary draw, is it

For me too. Well done. I’ve just completed 2 months on Gas Tracker and have averaged under 5pkw/h saving over 35% or £20 compared to the SVT though £8.60 of that was the lower standing charge.QrizB said:k_man said:

That's is brilliant, are there any projections going forward as have two relatives with Octopus and they need some options to reduce energy costs.tlcgrantham said:

They would ideally like a fixed rate but in lieu of that what are the predictions for tracker this winter as they have been offered tracker v3 for gas and elec.0 -
Requested to be changed into Tracker a couple of days ago but hasn't happened yet. Octopus decided to change my 2 yr old SMET2 meters for new ones on the 8th June as they were having problems picking up the gas readings. They still aren't getting the gas although electric is again working fine. Saw this on Bright which might explain the delay in Tracker.

Almost a whole years gas recorded as being used between 7.30 and 8am on Saturday!!!
I think the problem was the new gas meter was showing 9999 rather than 0 and took from 8th to the 11th to get to 0. Could take some time to sort out and maybe I won't get switched until it's sorted.Barnsley, South Yorkshire

Nice! BTW, do you have a smart meter?
Over a month and a half, to the end of May, Tracker v2 for gas and electricity saved me 23%, so not in the same league as your saving, but I'm still quite pleased with it.

Could take some time to sort out and maybe I won't get switched until it's sorted.Usually the crazy high usage is where an error code from the meter is interpreted as a consumption figure. The Octopus systems filter those out, but Bright and N3rgy report them as data regardless.0
