If you are right, we have a daily task for you 😋QrizB said:Thank you, I've looked for that data several times but somehow never found that page!Guy Lipman's price of 2.387p/kWh for this weekend is about 70p/therm which is the "high" price listed by Marex for the NBP All Day W/end.Marex have NBP All Day D/A (ie. Day/Ahead) "high" on 13/06 as 87p/therm. If that't the correct data, Monday's wholesale price for gas will be about 2.969p/kWh.Need to check back tomorrow to see if this is right
No pressure then
OK, assuming this is the right data, tomorrow's Tracker gas price (from Marex) should be about 4.6-4.7p/kWh and electricity (from Nordpool) 25-26p/kWh.Let's see how that turns out.N. Requests to change tariff usually take place the following day. If so and QrixBs predictions are right for tomorrow you’ll save money on your first day particularly for gas. Good luck!Alnat1 said:Right, it's done, a few weeks of deciding, now I've finally requested to change from Flexible to Tracker on both gas and electric.
Thank you to those who've given advice and posted links to info on the Energy and G&E threads

Using very little of either fuel at the moment, about 4-5kWh gas for hot water & hob and under 1kWh electric, so long as the sun is shining on my roof. Even so, will be nice to hopefully pay even less.

Hmm, Guy Lipman has 2.764p/kWh, equivalent to 81p/therm and a bit lower than expected .Close but no cigar, more thought required!N. Hampshire, he/him. Suspect the high will give you a worst case estimate and the live feed is needed to see the price at a particular time of day, when Octopus scrapes the price.QrizB said:QrizB said:Marex have NBP All Day D/A (ie. OK, let's try this again.
- Electricity: Nordpool average £158.49p/MWh (15.849p/kWh) so Tracker rates similar to 7th June - around 27p/kWh.
- Gas: Marex NPP all-day DA average 147p/therm (5.02p/kWh) so Tracker rates similar to 1st June - around 7p/kWh.
