Where to put my guitar?

Good Morning. I'm about to put my house on the market, and I've noticed that practically every property listed on RM or that I've visited has a guitar in one of the rooms. Sometimes they're hung on the wall, sometimes they're on a stand, prominently displayed. Others are just propped-up against the wall in a corner - but they're always there!
So, where do you put your guitar, and will certain types of guitar generate a higher selling price?
(This is a tongue-in-cheek question, purely for amusement. I don't wish to offend any serious guitarists out there).

If you will the end, you must will the means.

I've not noticed the guitars.I believe that the key sale winners are
a) a vase of random big twigs placed in a corner, often with fairy lights
b) it is imperative to hang a used tea towel from the arm of the oven.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I viewed one house twice that had the same guitar in both the living room and dining room - so maybe two guitars would in fact be more effective.Possibly forgo repairing the florescent room in a neutral shade and buy several stringed instruments instead????

The guitar thing may of course be a local phenomenon. But I agree about the twigs and fairy lights. Also strings of triangular flags hung in conservatories seems to be popular.Doozergirl said:I've not noticed the guitars.I believe that the key sale winners are

I think you should take up the triangle or castanets. Think of the space you'd save...!2024 wins: *must start comping again!*4

Don't forget to hang your bike on the wall as well, bonus points if you have more than one!4

It doesn't matter what objects you display, so long as everything is, or is painted, grey.

I’m a relatively small person, and was thinking of being visible in our box room photo to demonstrate it looks bigger than it actually is. Complete with 3/4 size guitar for full effect.14
