  • You were right @jwil. She is such a lovely person, but didn’t need to be as invested as the celebs, with it not being her day job.
Keep the faith @KajiKita…we can do it. One day less to wait already!
I did get out in my car, which always makes me feel better. I feel freer when I’ve been away from the house under my own steam somehow. I avoided stopping at any shop! I saw a lovely rainbow, which made me cry a bit. I saw a rainbow when I was bawling in the car after losing my dad, so it feels like a sign…a bit bonkers, but there you go! He’s probably telling me to get my !!!!!! together 😂
I didn’t manage my walk as miss WW dog was kicking off while I was out and MrWW wanted to go back to bed…so I did half an hour on the treadmill (WW dog approved activity) and managed to just tip myself over the 10k steps.
I don’t normally watch tv when I’m unsupervised (apart from strictly, obv), but I am trying highland cops on bbc Scotland to see if there are any places I recognise. It’s starting off on the Isle of Skye though, so hardly highlands in my opinion 😬

You got it right @jwil 😊

I just wanted to say WW, well done on the 10K steps. I am facing a day day here weather wise, and I have no idea how I am going to get much exercise in … so really appreciate the effort / achievement to get that done. 👏😊

It’s hard isn’t it! I can do weekends, but weekdays with 8 or 9 hours at my desk is so hard. Even with marching around the garden (what must the neighbours think 😅).

  • Happy Monday everyone, I hope you all have a brilliant day. Just work today, which is eerily quiet…I’ve been logged on since before 8, but no one else is logged on yet in the immediate team and only 1 email came in since I left on Friday…very odd indeed. I do have plenty to do, but it feels a bit apocalyptic 🤭
i do have Friday booked off, which I am looking forward to. I just hope MrWW is interested in doing something. If the weather is nice he may have hobby plans so I will just entertain myself by getting lots of steps in out in the fresh air.
I do need to start writing a list of all the Christmas presents I need to buy and add them in to the budget. I’ve bought a few bits already, but not very many. Ideally I’d like to get it all done in November…and of course next year I will have my ynab pot all ready and waiting. I will find MrWW’s present in December as that doesn’t need posting…although neither of us have any idea what we want.

  • Happy Wednesday and happy pay day eve to everyone on the same timing as me 😁
i have tweaked ynab again and think I’m finally satisfied as to where everything is going to be either exactly or virtually planted in the morning. It means much less goes to savings as I have a much wider range of sinking funds and shouldn’t be caught out. It should all iron out over time, it just means savings shouldn’t need to go in and get dragged out again. Getting a few pay months in front would be the dream (I think I may have joined a cult 🤭).
I have this Friday booked off, so just today and tomorrow to work now. I’m looking forward to a long weekend, although it will probably involve housework.
I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday ✨

Sounds like a good plan with YNAB.  It would be great to get a few months ahead.

Well, done with getting closer to being YNAB-organised 😊 I think it would be far more satisfying to have savings that go in and quietly sit there, undisturbed by anticipatable spend needs 😊

You are doing really well. I always think the fall down 7 times, get up 8 proverb is never more apt than when first trying to set up AND evolve a proper, fully detailed budget 😊

Thanks KK….almost like Alice’s quote ‘I could fall down 7 times before breakfast’. I must be into triple figures by now 😅
