I hope everyone had a good Saturday. I challenged myself to get 20k steps today as I was feeling aimless. I did my usual weekend/day off walk to the cliff tops twice and scrubbed the mud from the utility room floor, so I’m nearly there. I’m a few hundred off, but will March around the garden once dog wakes up. I have watched strictly with a glass of fizz and have had another tweak of the ynab numbers. I’m so impatient to get paid so I can do a proper experiment 🤭 Other than that, I don’t have much to report.I’m laid in bed fully dressed as it saves me having to get dressed again when WWdog decides it’s time to go outside 😬 Then she can track mud back in as the back garden is like a swamp. If we had wild pigs around here they would happily move into the garden to wallow in it. It’s just a big patch by the back door and I’m not sure what causes it to get so bad. I don’t think it’s a leak as it’s fine in summer. Very odd and inconvenient.I hope you all have a great evening 🌙Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Wow to the steps! I also do marching up & down the garden to augment my steps but would never get anywhere near 20k! My steps yesterday were truly pitiful. I was quite busy in the morning - all jobs which involved being on my feet - but not much moving around. Should be better over this next week as the forecast looks much drier & I havw heaps of gardening to do.

Well done with the steps….ive been feeling very sorry for myself cos I’m full of a cold and only managed just over 1000 for the last couple of days…I do usually manage many Moore 👍January spends - £587.582

Being busy or feeling poorly really does stop the step count foxgloves and milann. I’m terrible on work days as 8 or 9 hours are spent at my desk. I have a walking pad, so I try and do a bit before and after work, but it feels harder than walking outside. 15 mins on the walking pad feels like an hour! I have managed over 14k today without my challenge, which is higher than a normal weekend. I did the garden marching, made some individual shepherds pies which had me walking around the kitchen (and included a small one just for WW dog without onions 😁), drove to L1dl and walked up a few aisles and then did my usual walk to the cliff top. I didn’t risk going all the way up as it’s quite windy with amber warnings and I had no desire to take the fast route down! Although it would have to be an impressive gust as I’m not feather light 😅 Am I the only one that resents all the steps I take in the shower that don’t get tracked? 😬
My legs are definitely telling me I’ve done a lot of steps this weekend 😖
I was happy with the Strictly results tonight. I think it was more than time that Paul went. We always look forward to the Halloween week. It’s odd how invested we get as we never watch any other reality tv.
Has anyone watched Ludwig? We really enjoyed it.Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I agree it was right that Paul went, though I enjoyed seeing him improve. I haven't watched Ludwig but it sounds really good and it's getting good reviews, so I want to!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney1

Tbh I think Paul had had enough. He was starting to look really tired and everyone was improving so much around him ….
And yes, I resent the steps that don’t get counted, to and from, and in the shower! 😉😂😂😂

I also agree the right decision was made in Strictly.
I've watched Ludwig and quite enjoyed it…..it reminds me of McCarthey and Dodds and I don’t know why🤷🏻♀️January spends - £587.582 -
Happy Tuesday ☔️
I don’t have much to report, sadly although there is still a week and a half to go, I am counting down to pay day! I was tempted to take a bit more out of savings, but have decided I will coast to the end on fumes instead! I have my complete budget plan just waiting for pay day, so I can start filling those categories. I do need to fund Christmas over November/December while starting to build my 2025 pot. Once the pots are all funded it will be so much easier.I have about £5 in prolific, so I will aim to get a bit more to be able to cash out and supplement my meagre current account (about £35 left). I don’t know why I’m whinging really, there is nothing I need to spend on between now and pay day!I have had a very unhealthy lunch of mini gingerbread men, squares crisps and a Rice Krispies bar 😬 so now I will head back to work.
i hope you are all having a good day ✨Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
