  • Laughed at your lunch, I am glad it's not just me who makes these decisions.
  • Happy Wednesday everyone. Today was such a busy day at work. I’ve had a couple of later finishes with one thing and another. Anyway, I have just caught up with bake off as I completely forgot it yesterday!
A week tomorrow until payday. I’m itching to start the new budget 😅 It will be a squeeze of a month as I do want to get the majority of Christmas presents sorted in November. I always try to have a relaxed December where most of the presents are done and dusted and all I need to do is post everything. Is it too early for Christmas talk?

We don’t have the discipline to keep up with an advent calendar here … 😂 We end up missing two or three days and then it seems to be a bit pointless! 😉 Our best year was when I found one with cat treats and Fred became very proactive in encouraging us to open today’s door! 😂😂❤️

I've already started prepping for Christmas so not too early here.  We always get ourselves the chocolate advent calendar along with the kids but I've never bought any of the other ones.  We occasionally get the kids the lego ones if there is a good offer somewhere.

MrWW has had the Lego ones before, but it was a chore putting them together when he forgot several days and then we didn’t know what to do with them at the end 😬Adulting takes the fun out of loads of things! I have been hunting for a really good chocolate calendar for about 10 years, the expensive ones can be a bit dark for me, so I usually find a bog standard Cadbury is more enjoyable. If I had access to an M&S I’d definitely go back to their posher ones.
I have nothing planned for today apart from work, which has already kicked off well with a meeting about a new system that no one mentioned was being replaced 😬
I hope you all have a happy Thursday ✨

I usually treat myself to the MnS beauty advent calendar and it’s always been brilliant but have seen the contents of this year’s and not going to bother as none of them have grabbed my interest. The surprise element of it has been ruined too 😐

One of my cats managed to break into her advent calendar a few years ago and scoffed all the treats 😆

I got the mns one last year for the first time. I really liked it, but I haven’t seen this years. Sad if it’s all rubbishy stuff. I hate those teeny tiny tubes of nothing 😬
    Clever cat 😁
