  • Hi WW hope you're ok and your back is improving.
  • Hi WW hope you're ok and your back is improving.
Thank you, it is much improved, although it has taken a lot longer than normal to heal which has been frustrating. I took a day off yesterday and went for my first walk since it happened. It was lovely to be out in the fresh air and I saw a seal from the cliff tops and some bonkers snails on a wooden electricity pole, so that made me happy 😁 There were hundreds of snails all stacked up, it was the oddest thing. I hope a bird doesn’t spot them! I do feel achey this morning, but I expect that’s just because I’m out of exercise practice again.
I did take some money out of my pb’s, which I’m annoyed with myself about, as I’ve ended up with more month than money. September was not the good month I had planned 😖 However, in true WW style I have bought a new A5 binder, inserts, a funky little ruler and mini calculator and I’m all set for magic October. I’ve made some savings trackers to colour in, so it can’t fail!! I have been watching Dave Ramsey for inspiration and the Budget Mom for how she fills in her trackers. I plan to track every single spend, which I don’t normally do, so that should make me think twice. I was planning to send back the pb money, but I awoke this morning thinking I should do a separate £1k emergency fund à la Dave, before I concentrate on anything else. In good news my stocks and shares isa is back in profit 😅
i hope you are all well and are planning a fun Saturday ✨⭐️

I've never tracked my spends before this year, and it's been quite eye opening.  I'm not much of a shopper, so I don't have huge amounts of 'stuff' purchases, but there are some, and the little amounts I constantly send for school and stuff soon add up but are easily forgotten.

Glad your back is improving and glad you managed to have a nice day off yesterday.

I use a free app called Good Budget to track my spending and started again this month.  i am well into negative money already, so no wonder my accounts have been feeling low.
It works like an old fashioned cash envelope system.

    Happy Monday everyone ✨
I had a nice weekend and managed to get my steps in both days, so that was good. It was cold yesterday, which is nicer for walking in.
My planner is all set up and ready to go for October, but a week seems a long time to wait, both for pay day and for getting the highlighters out 😅
I haven’t heard of the good budget app @Debsnewbudget, thank you.
I think tracking my spends will be embarrassing, but hopefully embarrassing enough to make me think twice!
This week is just work and trying to survive until Monday…Monday pay days shouldn’t be allowed, it should always be the Friday before just to be kind 😅
I hope you all have a good day ⭐️
