I always block out lunchtime in my calendar and block out from 4.30 onwards so no one can sneak in a meeting without consulting me first.
My hair is straight until my eyebrows then it's feral from there downwards. Occasionally I get a wavy fringe especially if the weather is damp which is really annoying. I just comb my hair with an afro comb and let it do its own thing.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -
So do I SA. The customer doesn’t care 😣
I’m happy to let mine go feral too…apart from my fringe, which is absolutely wild without enough weight to drag it down. I’ve just had to hot brush it…as the 12pm customer likes to see me panic on camera 😅 It’s not as much fun if they can’t see the whites of my eyes and my lip trembling 🤣 Or possibly they do it because generally a cat makes an uninvited appearance? Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I hate lunchtime and late meetings too, and always try and block it out, but someone always 'can't do any other time'."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney1

I have to admit I'd book any meeting with prospect of a cat joining. I used to lock mine out and in return they would (noisily) shred my lovingly sanded and waxed reclaim door.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Good morning and happy Friday ✨
i have barely any meetings in today…bliss!I am still carrying most of the Chinese takeaway weight! How is it that it takes me a month to lose a pound, but one meal to add back two? I’m hoping it will drop off soon. I do know it’s always better when I can fit my steps in, but even with considerable effort I only managed Faust over 5k yesterday, with work and daily jobs getting in the way.I am going to try and do my nails again today. I left off using the nice kit when it was damaging my nails, so I had to wait while they got back to normal. Now I’m going to try it without filing the nail bed at all. I know it won’t stick for as long, but if they last for 4 or 5 days with no damage then I’ll be very happy. If it doesn’t work then I may just abandon the idea of fancy nails altogether.MrWW is working this weekend, so I expect I’ll be bumbling around doing all the jobs I should have done, like stripping the bed and cleaning the kitchen 😖 Or possibly I’ll ignore them and just go walking 😬

Definitely prioritise walking, there's enough miserable weather for fitting in domestic tasks

Oh I thought the fancy nail kit was working 🙁 I have builder gel on mine at a salon and they last around 3-4 weeks. I used to have very long, strong nails as a teenager but obviously housework (even though I wear rubber gloves) and using a keyboard daily has taken its toll 😞
I would definitely prioritise walking tomorrow over housework. You will feel so much better for it mentally.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -

Also, pets joining work meetings was the absolute best thing about covid. I'd join a meeting for a cat cameo.Save £12k in 2025 #33 £2531.77/£5000 (If this carries on I might have to up my target!)
