Thanks @southern_chick. It just felt a bit mean. I spend a lot of my time making sure no one is left out or overlooked. I won’t take my bat home, but briefly wanted to 😬. It must have felt awful when yours was an equally special milestone 😢

It’s hard to separate work friends from friends sometimes, as you spent such a large amount of time with them, but after starting work at 16 and being the baby in any room for a good 20 years, I suddenly find myself at the old end. Most of my peers have been hounded into taking release packages or have retired nice and early and the age demographic has shifted over the last few years. I feel exactly the same, so it’s very odd. 

I plan to hound MrWW today into making some calls. He found a contact from someone he works with whose father had some very reasonable roofing work done. So I would like a quote for my dead garage/new garden room….just to see if it’s reasonable enough to be doable 😅

I have a nutribullet, which was bought for a smoothies phase, but is mostly used for grinding small amounts of things or making curry paste.  Good for small portions of batter and whipping cream. Its very good at reducing cheap sugar to caster sugar as well. I probably would replace it if it failed.

A new roof and garden room sounds amazing….hope it comes off (the venture not the roof 🏚️🌪️)  it would be some where to sit and relax and shelter from the sun 🌞or most probably dodge the rain ⛈️💧⛈️💧. When is summer going to start?

Hi pip and gang. Yes, all good, just so dull and boring I have nothing exciting to recount 😬 It’s all just work and trying to get my steps in. Unfortunately I gave in to the temptations of a takeaway and wine tonight, so I’ll have instantly put half a stone on overnight… sigh! 

I did spend a shed load of savings on cat food and treats from prime day! I will put it back from the pet budget each month, as doing it this way saves a few hundred pounds overall. I did it at the same time last year on the prime day and the cats were sorted until Christmas, so I’m hoping it will last again.
I've got into the habit of being spendy this month…it’s hard to stop! I bought some bits in Emma Bridgewater sale and some bedding and some tops from George. They have gone into the black hole that is Evri though, so goodness knows when I’ll see them!
