Good morning and happy Wednesday…almost over the hump!
My trainers came and I love them.
This morning I cut my fringe before work. I’ve been growing it out for a year and a half, so I hope I don’t regret it, but it was just at that choppy annoying chin length stage, where I look like ms trunchbull from Matilda if I pin it back and like a Dougall dog if I leave it down. So back to a fringe it is….at least it has the added benefit of hiding my frown lines 🤭 I followed a YouTube tutorial so it doesn’t look harsh or too home done and chopped in anger 😬
So that’s my MSE thing for today. Other than that I don’t have a lot to report, but here is a picture of the sparkly trainers as promised…

Happy Friday everyone ☀️🌷 Gosh it’s hot! 🥵
i gave in and booked the afternoon off and went for a walk, it was sweltering. I must have looked like a mobile sun plodding up that farm track 😅
This morning I gained the pound I had lost all week….how, the, heck!!! I had a decent deficit every day, I honestly don’t get it, but I’m not giving in!I did some spending this morning, but it was pet food from next months pet pot and some bulk groceries, just bits I can’t get hold of as easily at MrT or Lidl.We are on day 3 of MrWW not noticing I have cut my fringe 🤭 I may have grown it back before it registers 🤣Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Happy Saturday ☀️
Dog was horrendous last night. It’s just an age thing, but she was panting and moaning and I got up and dressed to take her outside 5 times, but each time she refused to budge 🙄 She had her fan on and I kept taking her drinks of water as it’s a big effort for her to walk 5 steps to her big water dish. Eventually she settled, but I must have only ended up with 5 hours of interrupted sleep 😖 Then she wouldn’t go out when her dad came home so I had to get up early…and now she’s barking so I’ll be the bad one if I go out for my walk and she keeps him awake…sigh. It’s frustrating when you just want to do something. I’m sitting on the kitchen floor as that’s where she is and she barks if I leave. Big dogs are like immovable objects wearing concrete boots if they don’t want to budge. At nearly 14 she is full of character and has decided old ladies can ditch all of their training! As I’m in the kitchen the yearly seagull menace is standing on the outside windowsill banging for food 😅
i do hope to get my 10k steps in at some point today.
I have been eyeing up a sale coat from regatta. It is half price and has excellent zippy pockets that would be perfect for my phone and earbud case when I’m walking. The dilemma is that I like 2 colours and can’t decide! I’m always a bit stuck on sizes as I can be a 12 or a 14, but for coats I’m happy for them to be roomy in case I need a jumper, so I wouldn’t stress too much about that.I hope you all have a good non barky day ☀️✨Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

She'll have to get a purple collar for her birthday in tribute to the Jenny Joseph poem if she's going to be an old lady 💜
