Thanks everyone. She does have a bright purple collar 🤭 I never connected it to that poem for dog , but I have embraced that for myself. I am trying to wear what makes me happy (hence the joyful trainers) instead of things to fade into the background. What a waste of those younger years when I looked much better…youth is indeed wasted on the young!I went for a walk in the end this morning (over 12k steps up to now) and dog made sure her dad didn’t sleep…so it wasn’t just me 😬. He went back to bed this afternoon and I had to walk up and down the garden while she was outside and then hang around in the kitchen while she slept on the tiles. The minute I left the room her bark kicked in 🙄 Anyway, the good news is she has settled now, so I’m hoping for a much more peaceful evening.I also closed the tabs for the coats…I do not need another coat. Truly, I do not!I hope you have all had a good Saturday 🌷Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

i have just felt really boring, with nothing to report, so didn’t want to put you all through it. Life is hard enough without reading about me doing nothing interesting at all!Payday today, hurrah, so I have done the shuffle, overpaid the mortgage (just £80 per month) and moved £400 to premium bonds. I plan to have another relaxed spending month as the plan for June worked very well. Because I had a substantial frittering fund I did not grab from any pots or take back any savings. I ended up with £900 increase in savings, but I realise the one off payment I had last month contributed nicely to this. However, as long as I go up a bit each month, keep my pots well fed and in tact, I am ok with spending more throughout the month. I have no idea where it all goes, but the micro spending on kindle books, extra pet snacks, the odd clothing bargains has made my June that bit happier, so long may it continue.Yesterday we had glorious sunshine and I managed to get a lot of clothes washed and dried over the course of the day. I’m glad I made the effort as it’s tipping down today and seems to be forecasting rain all next week (well obviously, as I have the week booked off work!).
Next week is birthday week..yes I do hope to drag it out for a week 😁. MrWW has transferred me some money, but I have no idea what to spend it on yet. Monday I have my car in for mot and service…quoted at £411, so touch wood nothing else needs doing. I have £800 in my car pot, but I always stress about mot’s and will feel much happier once it’s done. I swear I’ve been worrying about it for a month already, I really don’t like things I can’t predict, or anything outside of my comfort zone. I have £300 to allocate across my pots, but I’ll wait until after the mot to do that, so I have an extra buffer.I hope you all have a very happy Friday 🌷Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Happy Tuesday ☀️ My car passed its mot yesterday and I paid for the service, so I can stop stressing now and hopefully enjoy the rest of my week. I didn’t win anything on the pb’s so I’m vaguely disappointed about that! I have no idea what we’ll be doing today yet, but I’m hoping MrWW wants to go out and do something! Yaay for the car being sorted 😊👏🤩
Enjoy your day off today. If Mr WW doesn’t want to go out, why not go out anyway and not lose the light and hopefully sunniness of a day at this time of year? 😊
