A good idea, but they flag the freezable items and this isn’t one of them. I do have a terribly sweet tooth and eat something sweet every day, so it’s not really a hardship, more of a re juggling of the calories. It says eat within 2 days but I’m sure they’ll last through 5 days without issue.I managed just £20 in L*dl and MrWW will pay me that back, so it’s a good money saving day today! Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Ooh, cakes from Betty's, what a treat. Nothing quite like a fat rascal.
Haven't had Betty's for ages!

What a lovely thing to be sent. I'd probably fall face first into the box and eat them all in one day.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

@KeepOnKnitting sadly fat rascals are considered ‘too fresh’ and we are on a postcode no-send list 😒
we used to love a trip into the Bettys cafe. On weekdays they sometimes had a lady plinking away at a piano and it felt like being transported back to the roaring 20’s. I wonder if they still have that? Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Good morning and happy Monday ☀️🌷 I have been at my desk for half an hour and I’m over it! 🤣 At least it’s a couple of 4 day weeks, so that’s nice, although MrWW and I only have Good Friday off together, so we are planning a lunch out on that day. I plan to eat a lot!I have managed a pound and a half loss over 3 weeks, seriously slow, but at least it’s in the right direction. The higher exercise does seem to have got it moving a little bit. I ended yesterday on 8000 steps.
I am counting down to pay day so I can do the money shuffle, but did manage to move £25 into pb’s and £50 back to the car mot pot at the weekend, so that was pretty good for this point in the month. My spending has been very good for the last 2 weeks, long may it continue. I have been ogling a really beautiful boiler suit on line this weekend, I just love it, but fear I would just look like a rather blobby ghostbuster, or middle aged plumber, rather than the gorgeous quirky look I’d like to pull off. The question is dare I risk it? 😬😅 Hopefully it will get sold out between now and pocket money day 😁
I hope you all have a marvellous magical Monday ✨Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I can't compute 'beautiful' and 'boiler suit' 😆😆 Even googling isn't helping, but I'm not blessed with a sense of style anyway.
Well done on the weight loss and shuffling money into PBs and car pots."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -
I'm also not a fan - are you old enough to remember jump suits, looked awful unless you had a good leg to body proportion (I've got a long body and short legs so they mostly didn't fit) and you had to virtually strip off every time you needed the loo.Funnily enough I have a men's boiler suit (with cut off legs) for helping with really messy tasks - I do indeed look like a chubby middle aged plumber, even when I was a size 10. Going forward I will tell myself it's fashionable, or at least shout Ghostbusters occasionally. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

I had a burgundy flying suit which I wore to a middle school disco with pride. Mum got me it from the catalogue and I loved it so much. I was going through my Biggles phase, so just that it was called a flying suit gave it a million extra points in the style scale 🤣 I think it was maybe a year or 2 after ra-ra skirts and peddle pushers 😁
I am laughing at the chubby middle aged plumber description….this is just what I fear 😅 I do have long legs in proportion to my body, but I’m only average height and would probably have no chance of disguising the extra stone of chocolate around my middle 😖 I really do love it though. It’s from p& co and is called the wild ones boiler suit…so you can either join me in the boiler suit admiration, or collectively roll your eyes at me 😅 It’s expensive and I have never bought from there, so no idea on the sizing…not that I will, but I wish I was the type of woman who could carry it off with confidence and style! Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Oh I wish I had the confidence and style but in my head I would always be the chubby middle aged plumber. I used to love various things on Hush, worn by the elegant models with effortless style. I inevitably looked like a sack of potatoes. I have since worked out what does suit me my shape and am much better at buying the right things that I do like on me rather than just on paper. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Well I shall join you in boiler suit admiration, while knowing that I do not have the proportions to pull off anything like that. I'm rather more pear than hourglass shaped, so I doubt it would do much for me. I'll stick to separates or a nice fit and flare dress.Save £12k in 2025 #33 £2531.77/£5000 (If this carries on I might have to up my target!)
