You've inspired me to do a clothes purge this weekend. I've kept so much stuff that doesn't fit me since I put weight on and I'm keeping them just for the sake of it.
Well done on the weight loss WWCurrent debts - Lloyd's card £4130.00 (0% Oct 23) - Barclaycard £3400.00 (0% Oct 24) - Lloyd's loan £3640.00 - Curry's £441.00 Total owed - £11,611.00 Credit card total owed - £7,530.00
Aiming to kick the debt and lose the weight by the time I'm 50.

Morning all. Just a thought seeing as you're discussing weight and clothes...I keep my "must lose weight" clothes bagged up in the spare room. Occasionally I try them on to see if any more actually fit me. Foxgloves calls it "shopping from home" and it's so satisfying when you have 3 or 4 items that either haven't fitted you for ages or that you've never actually worn because they looked big enough in the shop but actually weren't and they fit now.
Throwing things out.....I also bag these up and keep them for three months before I get rid. Anything that I miss can come back in. This started when we moved from a very big house to a normal sized 3 bedroomed place. I spent 4 months going to charity shops, the tip and other various places and we still filled this house to overflowing. I promised my son that anything that he missed I would buy again if he really wanted it. It's been 9 years and he didn't miss a single thing. It's changed up a bit now in that we can keep things for 3 months but the idea is still much the same.
Enjoy your day peeps 😊6 -
Good morning and happy Wednesday ☕️☕️☕️☕️
You all have some excellent suggestions re my clothes mountain 🤭 I had a new build before this house with several massive built in wardrobes in various rooms and I have never got over it 😢 I miss that storage space so much! But as the Instagram clutterfree people I follow say….I do not have a storage problem, I have a too much stuff problem 😢 Dial it back WW!I did get a bit carried away with prime day deals yesterday and bulk bought a lot of cat food. I did this last year and it lasted the cats wet food until Christmas, so I’m hoping for the same again.I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday 🌟🌧️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

That made me laugh, I'm just trying to find places to store it all. The bits I bought are at least 18 months use byMy mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Good morning and happy Thursday 🌧️☔️
I did another coat of paint on the bathroom door last night and think it may finally be done. I think I’ve done 6 coats now, but will need to check in all lights to see if it looks streaky anywhere. The old off white was really powerful 🙄. Evr1 finally delivered my purple bag at 8.30 last night. That feels much too late (and they’d had it at the local depot since last Thursday). I’m looking forward to swapping stuff over and playing with it.
Today is the planned power outage day, so I’ll need to entertain myself the old fashioned way. It’s frustrating as there is a lot I should be doing at work.I fell for more prime deal’s yesterday including some bulk sparkling wine 😬 I’m glad it’s over 🤭 Luckily everything was in budget and the bulk buys will last months and will reduce my pet and everyday spending for many months. I’ll put that money into pots ready for the next bargainous opportunities 😁

Hope you manage to survive the power outage day, at least you have your new bag to play with. One of my friends has a separate sales spending pot for such occasions.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
