The thunder isn’t anywhere in sight in the far north and we have glorious sunshine! I have dried 3 lots of washing, have more pegged out and more in the machine. I’ve put a second and a third coat of paint on the bathroom door, but I think it will take 2 more 😖 and 2 coats on the cupboards, which luckily should be enough. The bath delivery is due on Monday, so then we’ll just need to wait for the plumber’s availability.
MrWW is having a hobby day, so I could paint happily on my own, but I’m having a break with an ice pop now 😁
I hope you are all having lovely Saturdays 🌟

Good morning and happy back to work Monday 😢😢😢☕️☕️☕️☕️
I barely slept last night, it must be the excitement of all the problems waiting for me 😖 Also we have received several letters for a power outage all day on Thursday while some work is done ‘somewhere’, so I’ll need to book another day off, which I could really do without. As I know about it in advance I really need to take it as leave, as there’s limits to what I can do without power and decent Wi-Fi access.
I wasn’t good yesterday as I went onto marks & s to get another set of bras and spent £160 😮 I got 2 cheap pairs of jeans, a top and then a top for MrWW. But in better news I have decided against new bedroom furniture and will just have another good clear out, throw or donate all the old knackered jeans, etc. and just keep the clothes I actually wear. I really don’t have a storage problem, I have a too much stuff problem! This will save me the £1500 I was considering spending and I will shuffle it to savings and move back to the poor mindset again! It was nice thinking I had money to spend, but really building the savings buffer is much more important than a it of matching furniture I don’t really need.
The bath should be delivered today, I woke up in a panic thinking my measurements might be wrong, but I’ve no way to re measure the space without MrWW asking what I’m doing 😅 Do I brazen it out and check the measurements or just hope for the best? I know the length is fine, but the width? 😬
I put a fourth coat of paint on the bathroom door yesterday and it still needs another 😖
I am restarting a much more careful calorie counting today, to try and lose the extra pound and gain some traction again…if I’m going to be miserable I may as well be hungry too 🤣
I hope you all have a great Monday ☕️🍩🌞

I sneaked the tape measure into the bathroom and double checked…all should be ok 😅 Thank goodness, I really hate to be wrong 🤭 I’m not sure when the plumber will be free, but it’s a step closer as everything is delivered now.

You could always ask Mr WW to help with measuring, then you can share the responsibility of getting it wrong 😆

I hope the plumber can fit it soon!

Boo to forced days off.  I hate taking leave for that.  Do you ever go into an office or are you fully remote?

Well done on resisting the furniture.  Decluttering is always good beforehand.

Hope you don't have to wait too long to get the bath fitted.

There is an office, but not one any of my team are in. I think it would be a waste of a day trying to find somewhere to set up shop.
The plumber is booked for a week on Tuesday, so I could finish the painting and cleaning the tiles on Thursday.
I do think the sorting of clothes could take years. The trouble with having very few changes of clothes as a child turned me into a bit of a hoarder! Just by trying and rejecting anything damaged, ill fitting and that doesn’t suit me could probably halve my wardrobe 😬

I think it does wonders for self esteem when you have a wardrobe sort out. Just knowing EVERYTHING you have fits and is decent enough to wear……do it WW 👍

I often wish I could get rid of all my clothes and start from scratch with a capsule wardrobe where everything mixes and matches - dream on 🤣
