Now I just wish I had a bigger wardrobe.  I realised a while ago that I still have at least one thing that I wear that is almost 50 yrs old.  I will not get rid of it just because it is that old.

I have 2 T-shirts from a trip of a lifetime in the late 70’s when I was 8. I wore them until I grew out of them…and then kept them 🤭. I don’t know why I kept them at first, but then they became heirlooms 😅

I often wish I could get rid of all my clothes and start from scratch with a capsule wardrobe where everything mixes and matches - dream on 🤣
That sounds like such a good idea…apart from I’m really random and can flick from sophisticated to binman  and everything in between 🤣 capsule wardrobes would only fit a single personality and colour scheme I think 😬

Happy Tuesday. The wardrobe clear out will make you feel better once it's done. I get quite ruthless with anything I no longer wear or don't feel happy in. I often notice when I'm putting away the summer/winter stuff if things are going back into storage and haven't been worn yet again that season then it's time to get rid.

I think the Marie Kondo method for clothes really helps.  Not necessarily getting everything out, as that is overwhelming, but doing each category alone - i.e. underwear, tops, dresses, trousers etc.  When I find that I have a million black t-shirts, I find it easier to get rid of the ones I don't find so comfortable because I know I still have some left.

That’s a good idea. I do tend to wear the ratty stuff because I’m saving the good stuff for best…which is really silly as there are so few best occasions 😅

I’d been putting off wearing some trousers that I was “saving for best”. I wore them for work yesterday and two people commented how nice I looked. It really cheered up my Monday.

That’s lovely 😊 It’s so nice when it’s not wasted!

I’d start by getting rid of anything too baggy now you’ve lost weight. If you get rid of them you won’t have any clothes so can’t put weight back on 👍 unless you want to wear your birthday suit 😂👍
