Whispers ‘can we have both?’ Please badmemory? I love my money spreadsheets, but like a good book to colour in, track changes, diary writing, etc. You can’t stick a sticker on a spreadsheet 😟

Just popping in to update on the bookcase situation 😁 I was rumbled this afternoon…but only as MrWW noticed the space in my office. He looked around the house and couldn’t find it, so asked me what had happened to it 🤣 Clearly the herd of bookcases in the dining room protected it admirably and the full shelves of books that moved with it were perfect camouflage 😁

It's the stick insect of bookcases, I love it!

Some (many, lots) years back I was seduced by an organised mum diary in the sales, complete with stickers and tear out shoppings lists. I'm still slowly using it up, and I never was an organised mum (always the one who forgot dress up/down days) but I got my few £s of pleasure out of that purchase. I quite like pence per smile.

I’m easily seduced with stickers and tear out lists. At least you are getting your money’s worth. I found some cheap post it’s during my office clean up and they were so elderly the stick had evaporated 😅

I still have a load of stationery rescued from my last job when the office closed down and we were told to help ourselves. Trouble is this was back in 2000 😆

I nearly got suckered into bullet journals but happily remembered that I am great at making a list, but really awful at actually doing any of it. I did finally submit my tax return today though - go me. It even generated a small return (business mileage) which would fund some pretty stickers, or a nice jumper...

Or even one of those clutter coaches? There was one on the telly who, as I recall, travelled with a portable crusher.  We can all aspire to that, no doubt...unless we actually like having some cosiness in our lives.  I must confess my guilty secret...I love Filthy house SOS and watch it with DD. It's an awful warning of how things cam easily get totally out of hand.  Love Humdinger xx

 I  (probably against the flow) think that if your stuff and purchases give you smiles per pound value then they were worth it, if you personally can afford to direct your finances that way. I have never been a fan of unnecessary hairy shirt and the gloomy trousers of uncle Vanya economies for the sake of it.

@Humdinger1 filthy house sos sounds interesting, I will look out for it. I secretly like the hoarders ones and also my 500lb life (where there’s the occasional gem when they can’t understand why the diet isn’t working while they are scraping out a vat of ice cream with a spoon). Both those programs are an awful warning for me 😬
