If your sticker book makes you smile, you can afford it and it helps you keep to plan….enjoy it 👍👍👍👍
I start off really well when I’m logging a diary but never keep it up longer than a week or so. I buy nice but cheaper notebooks and use pretty coloured pens - I always intend to keep up with them but once I miss a day seem to be forever be on catch up.
Well done on the new calorie counting scheme 👍January spends - £587.582 -
Good morning and happy Wednesday ☕️ Back to work for me and oh how the coffee is needed!
Since Monday my BMI has dropped a point so that’s a tiny win. The scales are going down, but in fractions of a pound. I expect it will take at least 6 months and possibly a year to get where I need to be, so I’m prepared for the long haul. Not enthusiastic, but prepared 😅
I am just taking a quick break to eat a porridge pot for my breakfast…it’s been a long day already.

Happy Wednesday to you.Well done on the BMI result. My thinking is ‘it didn’t go on overnight so it won’t come off overnight’ 👍January spends - £587.582

Yes it’s definitely true it takes a lot less time to gain a pound than lose it 🙁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Happy Thursday everyone 😢☕️
My weight marginally increased today! I think it must be because I had rice and veg with tea and that’s a bit heavier than I’ve had all week. I’m definitely within the calories so I’ll have to wait for that to catch back up. I did have just under 1400, where the other days were around 1200, but that’s mostly because I had a made from scratch tea and had to count the separate elements. I also did less steps as I’m chained to my desk again. If I can lose 2lb’s a week it will take me about 4 months, but I know from experience that could be ambitious! I’ll apologise now if I’m banging on about dieting a bit too much, I’m all in at the moment 😅
I spent £50 yesterday ordering the cats biscuits (they only like one type and flavour and I could only find them on z*plus this month) and some dog treats, but I also managed to cash back £20 from top cash back so that will reduce the hit on my account 😁 How many months until payday?
I hope you all have a lovely day filled with happiness and all the good things you deserve ☕️⭐️🪄Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

If you aim for 1lb a week that would be easier to achieve and some weeks you might lose more. There are still 250 days left in January 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Morning ww, thanks for saying about checking BMI pleased to say mine has gone down a tiny tiny bit but at least its down. You are doing really well counting calories I haven't the patience, its the excercise that I need to do, living in the sticks everywhere is so muddy - well thats the excuse for today! 2lb a week loss would be wonderful but from past experience its more likely to be 1/2 - 1lb still at this point anything is acceptable! Have a good day, will be cheering you on x3

You both talk great sense and 1lb or even half is still going in the right direction. It’s hard to be patient though. I do need to do more exercise, but it’s extremely hard to fit it in. I’m at my desk 8 until 4.30 or 5, then I cook tea, then it’s the evening jobs (mucking out litter trays, etc.) a bit of tv and before you know it it’s bed time 😬 Everything is easier when the nights are lighter, but I do like the cosy dark winter nights too.I guess I need to have a routine of a walk before making tea, but that would put back bedtime and I love nothing more than ligging in bed with coffee, the tv and my book 🤣Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I’m finding getting exercise in too and I haven’t even got an excuse. I’m not working, have gym membership and some nice walks nearby. I just haven’t got the motivation atm. I will get there though 👍 I used to have a skipping rope and skipped through a tv advert - eventually I could skip the whole commercial break. Don’t think I could skip 10 skips now though…..all that activity was years ago.January spends - £587.581
