We went to the big town to get cat litter yesterday and they’d completely sold out..again! The trip wasn’t wasted though, as I am now the proud owner of a golden toblerone and some Victoria sponge muffins 😬
Today we have a picture to pick up from the framers and an old quilt to drop at the tip…it’s all go here!
I had my oodie on yesterday…brrrr.

It’s a good job we are already the proud owners of Ninjas. They’re like gold dust now especially the dual. People are paying silly prices for what used to be the cheaper brands, queuing outside shops for them and such like and so forth 😱 A podcast I listen to compared the cost of using her oven vs her air fryer to cook a Sunday roast. £4 in the oven and 17p in the air fryer!!

That is a huge difference, I have an air fryer, and am hoping to get vouchers for a multi cooker of some brand for the C word time of year

WW I’ve had the same issue again recently with cat litter being sold out. I’ve started to do a click and collect now before I got to the store to make sure it’s not a wasted journey. You’ve then got 2 weeks to collect from when they email to say the order is ready. It might save you a wasted journey, although I agree toblerone is always worth a trip 🤣🤣🤣 xx

@southern_chick click and collect is a good idea. They said they only had the sacks of pellets back in for one day and they sold out! It took a while to get the rabble used to wood, so I don’t want to confuse them with another change.
@Sun_Addict that price difference is crazy! Thank goodness you’ve been recommended them to all of us slow starters, so we jumped on in time 😁 I’m glad I got the dual first. I’ve still not mastered everything yet. I’d like a 15 in 1, but maybe Santa will be kind to me and @SusieT 😁
Payday eve today. I had a pretty good September, even though I did fritter on jumpers and a few bits, I put off the not urgent car repair and am ending on £900 increase from last month. I have a first saving target for December which I’m still £2.5k short of. I don’t think I’ll hit it as I have the pending repair and heating oil to get between now and then, but I’m definitely in a better position than I was. The hard part is reading about inflation and realising my small savings are still worth less than when I saved them!
Yesterday I practically wasted the day doing nothing and it was lovely! I think we may go out for lunch today. We should make the most of it as the next holiday will be Christmas. I am struggling to find the joy in things at the moment…I need to up my game.
in other news I finished The Ink Black Heart and it was excellent, but when will they ever get together! How long will we have to wait for the next instalment of the very, very slow burn romance of Robin and Strike? Sigh 😢

I think I got lucky with Argus reserved but not collected gold dust tbh.  Love it, used daily, nothing remotely adventurous just things like sausages but faster.  However, the Boy Who Doesnt Eat came back downstairs tonight to tell me I made the best fries ever, and whatever I did to do it again please.

I'm sure I read the Strike books are due to be a 7 book series, so if it's true, you haven't got too long to wait.

Happy Friday and happy payday ⭐️

Money shuffle has been done. I always prefer it after the first week when the big dd’s have gone out and I know what’s left is mine. I don’t know why, as I wouldn’t spend it by accident!
We haven’t gone anywhere today as it’s wild and wet and windy and MrWW isn’t feeling like an outing.
