I haven’t watched ant strictly yet…..but I intend to lock myself upstairs with my ironing pile and sort that out later 👍 Dh will watch it but it’s not his first choice. So I’ll enjoy in peace and quiet…..and if the ironing is finished I’ll chill on the bed watching and let him think I’ve been working hard whilst he cooks lamb steaks an new potatoes for tea 🤫😂

I've just caught up. How is the quilt going? I've made a few smaller ones and have a few unfinished ones languishing. The result of having too many hobbies, I think.Save £12k in 2025 #33 £2531.77/£5000 (If this carries on I might have to up my target!)

Good morning and happy Sunday ☕️📚🍫
@milann good plan! @KeepOnKnitting slowly 🤣 like you I have too many things going on and a full time job and all the usual house jobs so it’s not always easy to get things done quickly. I’m happy with my blocks so far though.
The cat that we posted back home arrived in our garden last night, extremely hungry. MrWW opened the door to feed the hedgehog and this little visitor came bouncing into the utility room, rubbing on legs with a kind of ‘ta da, did you miss me friends?’ Vibe 😬 we left him/her (still confused the owners say a girl and we can see fluffy tackle) in the back garage/shed with the bed from last time and plenty of snacks. Hopefully it was just a nice visit and it’s headed home as we haven’t seen it this morning (and don’t want to go look and set it off again with its campaign for indoor living at our house). We’ll ring the owners if we see a lost cat post again or if it hangs around too long.
There was slight tension in the WW house when dog got a bit excited about her drive and wee’d in the living room. Only the second time since she was house trained and she’s getting on. I’m of the ‘oh dear, you made a mistake’ cuddle, scrub and forget it. MrWW was all raised voice and shouting bad girls which I hate. She’s not a bad girl! I scrubbed it up, but apparently incorrectly….so we went for our drive and left him to it. All seems calm now we are back, so I don’t need to take up arms..phew.
One of my items sold on the bay of e, so I need to pack it up. It had been round about 4 times and went for lower than I’d hoped, but it’s ok. It was a picture bag, so I might put my others on now. I love them, but don’t use them….if I used them they would get shabby and end up in the bin eventually and if I don’t use them they just sit in a cupboard taking up space. I’m much too lazy to change over bags for every outing, so it makes sense to move them on, even if it does give me a slight pang. I treasured them when I was really poor, so I get over invested in things that I just don’t need or use. I have to tell myself if I really wanted one I could buy another (but only if I promise myself I’d use it).
What are you all up to today?

Your dog (& you) have my sympathy. Many years ago we had a rescue dog that hadn't been well treated. You can tell when you lift your arm to pick something off a shelf & the poor dog cowers. She used to charge round & round the room if someone sneezed & quite often have an accident. Once when I went out of the front door she went mad in the kitchen & went right out of the glass door. So fast even her tail didn't get a nick from the fallen glass. So new door with only top half glazed, dogs can have expenses that you never dreamed of. There is no point in chastising them, they don't do it on purpose or from a "well I waited too long to go". It won't stop it happening again, which would be the only advantage. My then H once tried rubbing her nose in it which was the advice at the time. It was a good way of scaring an already scared animal, which thankfully he realised immediately. Can you take her into the garden & then let her know she is going for a drive? It may save upsets (& wet patches). I would just like to add that my crazy dog became an excellent child minder. DS used to use her hair to pull himself up so he could walk. He grabbed hair & lifted her back legs off the ground whilst she was eating. Got her to bite into a bonio because he couldn't & then chew on it. And we thought that having a child may mean we had to give her up & they had told us if we had to there was only one outcome for her. One weekend I put her in DS's playpen just to give her a break. Sorry for the screed!1

Luckily she’s not a serial wee-er (that’s one of the cats, he has a fondness for corners anywhere other than the 5 differently located trays!), so once a flood isn’t a problem, it’s just a mistake.
The visitor cat isn’t here today, so maybe he went back home.

We went out for lunch and to post the bay of e parcel. I had a huge battered fish and chips..so large that I asked for a doggy bag and the hound had a dish of battered fish as a treat when we got home..and then a long sleep on my knee 😁 50kg elderly dogs still want to be puppies. By leaving the fish I had room for a sundae…
The parcel cost over £11 to post, worth it for tracking and speedy delivery I think. I’d rather reduce the profit and know it’s definitely got there with no arguments. I always list as I’ll pay postage, in the hope it moves them easier, but I’ve only sold higher value things so far.
I hope you are all having a nice Monday 🍫📚☕️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I was listening to chat on the radio today about pets sleeping in beds….the very varied opinions made me chuckle and think of you.
Its worth the postage cost to ensure it gets there and you have proof 👍January spends - £587.582
