That must be so nice @milann. We are on the back foot with the mortgage as we both started again from scratch in our 40’s, but did manage to keep to a shorter term (16 yrs rather than 25). So we have about 9 left and this year is the first year I’ve been over paying. I hope to shave a few months off before the fixed term ends and then try and reduce the final fix as 4 years instead of 5. That’s the plan anyway. I was so pleased when it dropped below £100k and it seems to have been reducing faster since then. You reminded me to update my overpayment totals on the signature.
I don’t think the budget will change anything at all for us apart from the nhs ni reversal, Scotland doesn’t benefit from the income tax changes…as they like to do it worse themselves 🙄

🤣🤣🤣 what did you think? You can pretty much spot the rhythmless ones straight away 😬 (they are my people). Every year we start off mumbling ‘what’s that dancers name?’ ‘ Were they in the last series?’, etc. and in a few weeks we’ll be back to being best friends with everyone.
Also new series of Ghosts, which we highly rate.

Good morning and happy Saturday ☕️📚🍫
I was dreaming ridiculous dreams about moving back home and not being able to find my socks. Very frustrating and I had so much to pack and was worrying about all the fuel I’d need to commute. That and waking up in a nice pile of drool was just wonderful 🤣 No wonder the cat who shares my pillow looked huffy (and slightly sticky) 😬
Today will be lunch out to celebrate the beginning of a free week. I’m not sure what else.
