Sadly not. It sold for an astronomical amount and the buyer messaged to ask for pictures sending to an email address and international delivery! It was in pigeon English and felt so dodgy. You can’t ask for specifics after purchase and everything was already shown. I contacted eBay and they said I’d need to cancel the sale stating it wasn’t international delivery and I’ve had to relist. Annoying as I’ve lost the person they were bidding against 😖 I’ll never see that level of sale in my lifetime …sigh. 

If you cancel the sale you should be able to do a second chance offer to the underbidder.  Do that before relisting if you can. It will give them a day or two to buy it at their last bid.  If they choose not to then you can relist again.

If you add Global Shipping to your listings, then you open up to international buyers.  All you need to do is post to the UK distribution centre. They send it on all tracked.  It's no extra cost for you, but you get more potential bids.  You just list the UK postage cost and they do all the rest.

Ah, the eBay help person never told me any of that. I asked about giving options to the other bidder and they said I had to cancel and relist 😡 I can’t seem to find the bidders now. So annoying.

A work colleague sold a painting to a very famous football club owner on eBay a few years ago. She had a right faff with him getting it authenticated, he didn’t buy it in the end. She was gutted as he offered a life changing price.

I think the problem is those help people are told to do 1,2 3 & other than that they don't have a clue.  I got an amazon person who actually seemed to have a clue last week.  She suggested I put notes re where to deliver.  So I did.  Waste of time but at least the guy delivered to the right house (well street actually) but he certainly did not use the directions given.  I reckon I have a 50% chance of a correct delivery.  But then I shouldn't be surprised.  I had a new bin delivered last week & the LOCAL people who lets face it should have a vague idea what they are doing, delivered it onto my front lawn - not another bin in sight because here you walk to the front & DRIVE to the back where all the rest of my bins & all my neighbours ones were.  I realised within 5 mins what they had done & rang back - fixed within the hour - I have a feeling someone may have received a rocket.  I mean who keeps a bin on the lawn?  Its a good way to ruin it.

I wish they would bring back the old GPS because at least when that came out I got proper deliveries, even my own takes me over 20 houses away on a different street - 2 streets away.

Horrid. Once they bid and are accepted they should have to pay no matter what.
@badmemory one of the delivery places consistently sends our parcels to Dundee, hundreds of miles away…it’s happened about 5 times. 

As I’ve re-listed, it's not on the deal now, so if it sells (and probably for a lot less) I’ll also get a lot higher fees.  😕
Ah well, maybe I’ll win the premium bonds tomorrow instead (snort).

Well no pb win yet…sigh 😕 Work this week, so yesterday was mostly catching back up.
I almost spent some money on Halloween and Christmas jumpers for both of us and then gave myself a shake. Totally unnecessary and we have plenty of Christmas jumpers anyway. So that was a £111 saving.
