Mmm Malteser cake sounds good to me too! How dare those birthday people not distribute cake...what’s the world coming to!Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Naomim said:I also drive an automatic. I swore I never would but embarrassingly I have arthritis only on the joint of my big left toe! High heels and the clutch of my car had to go 🤦♀️ To be honest, it's like driving a bumper car without the bumps! 😂 I always reverse into spaces too. I dont have a drive way and parking where I live can be interesting so parallel parking gets very good too! Yesterday I got trapped in our shopping centre car park. There was a fire there earlier in the week so one floor was closed off, the next one up part closed. They'd put up barriers but some numpty had parked where they'd put a makeshift exit 🤦♀️ I had to drive towards where people were coming up from lower floors. Once past the barriers I could stop and tell the carpark security.
Have a lovely Sunday3 -
CRANKY40 said:I prefer to reverse into spaces. That way you can see the enemy coming when it's time to leave 🤣 I was also suckered into spending money yesterday. The HT suggested chocolate cake as he'd been to two birthday parties and the very impressive cakes weren't cut into at either one. He was pleased with the £3 malteser cake from Sainsb's on my way home from work. Happy Sunday to you too.
Thankfully at DN birthday party yesterday they cut and distributed birthday cake as well as a variety of other homemade cakes were available 😋
My current car is an automatic but OH's is a manual I am happy driving either or my Mum's which is semi-automatic. The worst thing is on 2 of the cars the wipers are on the left and in the other they are on the right.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

They’re being very tight with the cake 😬 I’m not a massive cake/sweet things fan but I do love Maltesers 😋I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I’m happy with either too @Baileys_Babe, but those pesky wipers! My ex had a big manual truck that was ‘the wrong way around’...the only nice thing was it was so high up you could look in people’s windows (not that I would ever do that...ooh look, grandfather clock...) 🤭
The pipes were making a weird noise here in the night and after much investigation (and poor MrWW crawling through the underfloor crawl spaces with much cursing) there is a burst pipe 😥. He’s a good one and has patched it up, so we at least don’t have to pay Sunday call out rates, but do need a plumber ASAP 😭
ive not been up to much exciting, I’ve been working on a quilt top which is to be a present when finished, have been in the garden with the hound, have put away the food shop delivery, that’s about it.
I hope you’ve all been having good days 🌸
