    @dawnybabes if she had 2 girls to pick up from school in the 80’s she could be the same lady 🤣
    @elbree and @Onebrokelady of course the council have sensibly thought these things through 😬🙄🙄

    Also someone will have to show me (multiple times) how to work the thingmebob - I still HATE getting petrol and gave been driving over 20 years, for goodness sake! Yes @WinterWarrior it is a wonderful place to live - spent day at the beach with daughter (7) and half a million holiday makers but it's a lovely atmosphere when the sun shines and everyone's having fun.
    We probably all do. I changed from petrol to diesel 4 years ago....4 whole years...I still have to recite diesel pump (looks at pump), diesel (looks at diesel written on ‘petrol’ cap) before beginning to fill up...just in case I ever forget that I changed 😬 .... and don’t get me started on the tyre/air machines (I bought a foot pump to save myself the public embarrassment).

    😂😂 SAME! And why can't I ever remember the stupid number for tyre pressure? I have to look it up (for at least 20 mins) and write it on my hand. It's literally the only thing I miss about the ex. I used to make him do it 😂

    One of the very few things I like about OH car is the manufacturer has put tyre pressure information on the inside of the door frame so all you need to do to find it is open the driver's door 🙂 He still is the main person to check the tyres on both cars, but it is good to know the details are easily accessible if I ever need them.

    I always say living next to a school must be horrible 🙈. I'm lucky enough to live with walking distance and I don't have to drive from work, the roads on the way to school are always packed, barely enough space left for pedestrians and driveways partially blocked.
    We have a driveway and were lucky to get a free charging spot installed with our first electric car. 60 miles motorway range was rubbish but overall it was a great deal. I do think the infrastructure needs to exist before people have to switch to electric. It's getting better, there are lots of lamp posts chargers in an area in our town, but still a lot to go until more people can switch.

    That's what the AA man told me too, buts there's so many letters and numbers there I can't tell which is which! Every time I vow to remember, every time I fail 😂 Yet I can remember my best friends phone number from when I was 11! TBF I used that a lot more often 😂

    @Baileys_Babe mine are also on the door frame. I’ve had this make of car for over 15 yrs (I fell in love and never want to change now), so I forgot others don’t have that...nightmare! @elbree I also remember phone numbers and addresses from childhood, but can’t remember what I did last week 🤨
    @jokono we don’t have the school problem, but we are on the coast and summer is full of cyclists, camper vans and cavalcades of supercars 🙄
    anyway...Happy Sunday 🌞
    I have no plans, but hope to make today an NSD as I was suckered into spending £10.80 yesterday (by myself) as chocolate supplies seemed dangerously low....yes I know...calories...eating...jeans buttons...kaboom 🤭🍫🤷🏻‍♀️
    Have a wonderful day everyone. I was out and about yesterday so may just be pottering at home today 🌸📚

    I also drive an automatic. I swore I never would but embarrassingly I have arthritis only on the joint of my big left toe! High heels and the clutch of my car had to go 🤦‍♀️ To be honest, it's like driving a bumper car without the bumps! 😂 I always reverse into spaces too. I dont have a drive way and parking where I live can be interesting so parallel parking gets very good too!  Yesterday I got trapped in our shopping centre car park. There was a fire there earlier in the week so one floor was closed off, the next one up  part closed.  They'd put up barriers but some numpty had parked where they'd put a makeshift exit 🤦‍♀️ I had to drive towards where people were coming up from lower floors. Once past the barriers I could stop and tell the carpark security.

    Have a lovely Sunday

    @Naomim that sounds scary.
    I really didn’t want an auto, but my first was a good deal....then much like the kindle, once I had one I was hooked!

    I prefer to reverse into spaces. That way you can see the enemy coming when it's time to leave 🤣 I was also suckered into spending money yesterday. The HT suggested chocolate cake as he'd been to two birthday parties and the very impressive cakes weren't cut into at either one. He was pleased with the £3 malteser cake from Sainsb's on my way home from work. Happy Sunday to you too.
