Hands up here’s another one that likes reading your diary I know I’m definitely talking to myself or I might as well be 😂
Oh Izzybee every comment is precious here, you are definitely not just talking to yourself (although you may wish to be 🤣)

I love reading your diary too. I don’t know how many post I’ve laughed at. This is one of my favourite diaries, it’s so uplifting 🙂

    Thank you so much 😊

When the late MrC was still alive I used to tell people that I had two children but one of them was much older than the other 😂 so yes, I understand that kind of talkng to yourself too
🤣 I don’t mind talking to myself as much as the repeating....I’m sure mine is doing it on purpose now, I swear he asked me to repeat myself four times today 🙄

I no longer have to worry about petrol as Mr SA had his license taken off him because of the brain injury. I failed my driving test many years ago and it was so horrendous I vowed never to set foot in a car again 😆

I also know which diary you are referring to 😟 I vowed not to read it anymore but got sucked back in to the new one which I now regret because as I commented I'm really worried about the child involved, it gave me a sleepless night 😟  the diary has now been removed.
I also like reading your diary 😊by I don't have to worry about petrol because I've never learned to drive 😀
I didn’t know it had been removed. Good in a way, but I wonder what outlet he’ll have now 😞 and yes it was worrying.
would you like to learn to drive? It’s never too late if it’s something you want to do. Not that it’s necessary, just if it’s something you’d like to do. I do remember a friends mum giving us a lift from school and going miles out of our way...it turned out she didn’t like to turn onto a particular busy main road and avoided most right turns 😁

@Sun_Addict it took me 3 goes, but it was about a hundred years ago so I was full of optimism and determination. My first car had a choke and 4 gears...4! It was very desirable though...I know this because someone nicked it out of Asda car park on the one trip where I forgot to put my crook lock on...happy days 😖

🤣 i on the other hand reverse into every single parking space so it’s easier to get out of if I get partially blocked in...but I can’t reverse a long way in a straight line, it’s more like an embarrassing zigzag 😬

I got my licence in 2008 but didn't need to drive until 2016. I was very pregnant and moving to a new town with minimal public transport so I bought an automatic and did a few hours with an instructor to refresh my knowledge. It was very stressful at the beginning, even without having to change gears, but it is so much easier than manual.

He's gone back to his old diary but I won't be reading it anymore 🙁 I wouldn't learn to drive now because I would be an absolute liability driving a car, I just can't concentrate on everything at once plus I get terrible road rage as a passenger, if I was the driver I would possibly be even worse 😀

I agree @jokono. I’ve been driving since 89, but got my first auto about 20 years ago and never changed back! I seriously would struggle with the new 6 gear manuals as the last time I had one it stopped at 5. I’m not sure how I feel about electric cars, the thought of hours of charging and possibly running out halfway through a long trip boggles the mind!
