Friday at last, woohoo 🎉 
a very painful job I’ve been working on should hopefully get to the next stage today and I will hopefully finish at a reasonable time. It usually feels like log off, cook tea, eat tea, house jobs, bed every single work day...tedious! 

I’m getting itchy feet wanting to close my loans off, but it will be a few weeks yet. I may log on to the account of the bigger one to see how I can request a settlement amount, although I’ll need to wait until I have the funds as I expect it will change daily. I will also try to find time to set up a premium bonds account and buy a single bond just to set it up. I was surprised at how primitive the bonds pages looked, no expense spared 🤣 I’d never even heard of NS&I so wouldn’t have known to search for that. I think someone gave me a link before, but I couldn’t find it when I was paging back 😖
I haven’t been counting my calories this week, so need to get back to that before I explode.

Good morning. I hope the mean job gets the Friday feeling too and moves on as expected 😊  I've counted calories some day this week whilst others have been tricky. Today is one of the tricky ones. We're going out for a meal with the HT's partner's family for partner's 18th birthday. I won't be drinking as it's a fair way away so that will help.

Thank you for posting about premium bonds,  it reminded me I had some and I’ve just set up an online account to view them and bought my ds some.

I've also been thinking about PB so thanks for the nudge @WinterWarrior! I also have a stocks and shares ISA with M*neybox which I love. It rounds up my spare change and pops it in, it's amazing how fast it adds up and I can check the app everyday and dream of semi-retirement 😂. I'm in my 40s so it's a good way off! 😂

after I’ve set everyone off, I thought I’d better follow through, so have opened my account with £25. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’m always worried I’ve done something daft or set something up wrongly, so start with the minimum. When I’m sure it’s all ok I will add a bit more, maybe just £25 a month and see how I get on. 

It’s a weird thing about online money. I have an online savings account that doesn’t have a card and I sometimes panic that it could just disappear with no proof it was ever there 😮

Happy Saturday everyone 🌞
it was a lovely happy day on MSE yesterday. We had a mortgage offer, a loan write off, a meal out, reports of premium bond wins and lots of us opened pb accounts! It was such a positive day...lovely! I really enjoy reading about good luck and hard work paying off.
I’m not sure what I’ll be up to today, but I am aiming for NSD2. If we go anywhere I will need to fill up my car, but that’s a planned spend, so I don’t count it. I am a half a tank is dangerously empty person...MrWW is a travelling on fumes person 🤣 I am hovering on half a tank, so it’s praying on my mind!
