  • prem bonds for me have out performed any savings accounts , the nice thing is you can reinvest any wins you get and build up quite a little pot
  • Just checked mine for this month , my big investment doesn't become live until next month but this month I've had 2 x £25 prizes on a holding of £6600 so thats a lovely little return.

I've now read that diary and no surprise it's the same person whose previous diary I had to leave. So I wont be subscribing or reading any more.

I might look at premium bonds for the kids too.

That’s some amazing wins on pb’s, well done all of you.
are they easy to cash in if you need to, or has nobody tried?
And I’ve also unfollowed...it was so frustrating! I’m probably the wrong weight to follow it anyway 😬

You and me both kiddo. I was happily married to someone who loved me no matter what though and I that's something that money can't buy.

I like premium bonds because they are easy access but not 'too' easy.  Like you I tend to dip into savings, and it's only recently that I've managed not to.  I haven't withdrawn anything, but it doesn't look like it would be too hard, but it says it takes up to 3 banking days.  I think all bonds have the same likelihood of winning, but you are just more likely to win the more you have.  So if you have £thousands, you are more likely to win than if you just have £100

If you want to withdraw you just process it online , you can withdraw whatever amount you like as long as its units of £25 as the price per bond.
I've only ever withdrawn once , I like watching it build with the prizes

Ooh I'm looking at them now. Thinking I might stick some of my emergency fund in there.

So was I 🤣 I don’t have much of a fund, but it would be fun to maybe stick £25 a month in or something and see how it feels. I got sucked in to the winners stories 😁
