🤣🤣🤣 I think I only made the NSD’s because a. I spent to much on the spendy days and b. I’m not responsible for the weekly food shop (just ad hoc bits).

Good news about your windfall.  From experience receiving an inheritance made me think carefully what to do with it and not to waste it.  Like you I paid debts and the last of my mortgage which gave us a new start.

Amazing @millymolly22, sadly we have 10yrs mortgage left, but things will be so much nicer.  It does indeed make you think about all the effort and work that went into gaining that money.

Happy Bank Holiday Monday ☀️

Yesterday I got more washing done and dried. I washed the dog and then she went outside for a roll in the dirt while she dried off and I read. Thanks dog! She still feels lovely and silky though. She’s much too big to lift so goes in the shower. She loves it, but the bathroom is like a tsunami has hit and I’m always wet through when we’ve finished.  MrWW did some gardening and cut the grass this weekend so it’s reasonably tidy out there 😁
We changed to shampoo bars a few yrs ago to reduce a bit of plastic. I’ve now seen they do dog shampoo bars too, so I’ll try her with one of those..not today though as I’ve already declared an NSD!

I'm waiting for 11yo to be ready to go off to a car boot sale. The Grandparents gave her £20 and its burning a hole in her pocket.

Happy Tuesday...I am just trying to find my mojo. I’ve been at my desk since 8, but still catching up from Friday.
1st of the month so the dd’s have started to move, although the biggest are the 3rd and 5th. I’ll be glad when they’ve gone out. I don’t count my dd’s on the no spend day challenge as they are background spends rather than something I’ve made a choice about.
