4 is my limit, but somehow we had 8 at one point, so 5 is closer to target. We live by lots of open country so acquired some homeless strays, along with some from the rescue, plus the originals I moved with. Over the last few yrs we’ve lost some through old age and illness 😢. They are all indoor cats as there is a fast road here and the local estate breeds pheasants and doesn’t take kindly to hunters. The most cats I’ve had at one time is 3, sadly down to 1 now plus the dog.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Good morning and happy Saturday. Was out in the garden at 6.30 as dog had been whinging for a while. It’s sunny, but dewy so there is now a very damp beast on the bed after she had a lovely roll. A small cat is on my chest, purring in my ear and padding with all his claws in my hair, dangerous times 😖 His paws are so wet I think he must have done several laps swimming around the big dog water bowl 🙄
I am currently on 16 NSD’s and may get another before Tuesday. I’ve gone for the same target of 15 for June.

No plans here either. My looked after person's parents have a cafe and they're short staffed today so I am doing a 4 hour shift in there in the middle of my ordinary working day. A family member of theirs is taking looked after person while I work in the cafe. I'll be lucky to remember my own name by the end of the day....I will be doing very little tomorrow.4
