Good morning and happy Thursday. To all of us who have last working day pay days...we’re nearly there..woohoo.I am declaring NSD16 today, but tomorrow will be a flurry of activity! MrWW seems to be spending as fast as I am debt clearing right now, but I’m not even thinking about that! When I am caught up I will try and see what he’s up to, although he does have some funds coming in next year which should clear all his off, as long as he doesn’t get excited about spending it instead 😖
Today is my last day at work until Tuesday, so I expect it will be quite manic.

Happy payday eve 😆 16 NSD is amazing. I’m slacking this month and have only done 10, might squeeze one more in before the month’s out though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Good morning! I get paid tomorrow too, usually on the 28th. Feb and March were great as 28 was on a Sunday so I got paid before the weekend. Not that I did anything special anyway, just felt good to pay everything earlier 😅
16 NSDs sound great. I started counting mine at the beginning of April, even printed a calendar and coloured them in, but it only lasted for a few days before I forgot about it.01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0

Thanks @Sun_Addict and @jokono. I hope to squeeze another nsd in before the 31st. I should really have had more, but I’m not very good at not buying things!
So, I thought I should have a little review of May as it’s pay day eve.
The Good: More no spend days than I expected, keeping track has helped me aim for more. I haven’t touched my £200 emergency fund. My cc is at zero, so I’m not starting on the back foot tomorrow. There were no extra payments, but the usual loan payments brought my combined debt down by about £600. My diary has kept me a bit more focused and I’ve really enjoyed interacting with you lovely lot!
The bad: I continued to raid my pots 😖 There is a little bit left, which is better than normal, but I need to work on this next month.
The Ugly: The weekly spending money was a great idea, I had a strong wk1, wk2 started to run away with me, and the rest was a complete washout (hence the pot raiding). I will start again with this from tomorrow, £50 p.w. as before. I aim to get this on track in June. just a beginners wobble I hope!

Lots of good stuff in May and having something left in the pots is a step forward. What was you biggest wobble this month?
