Thanks Beanie. I got 2 loads of washing dried outside, did some reading, walked to the post box with dog and generally just pottered about. We watched a few episodes of The Nevers, which we both enjoyed.
Happy Monday...ugg Monday! But on the bright side it’s pay day on Friday and a bank holiday next Monday.
I need to be as spend free as possible this week (and forever 🤣)
I will tweak my spreadsheets for next month at some time today...I need a high desk, some fingerless gloves and a guttering candle so I can channel my inner Scrooge!

I'm so jealous of you getting washing out. We haven't had dry enough weather   It's almost the end of May and I have got the heated airer back out of the cupboard.

We’ve had the heating on today if that makes you feel better 🤣 
I believe summer in the far north was yesterday and now we’re heading into autumn!

I have the same pay day.  It's always worst when it's on a Monday.  That seems so wrong, a total waste of a weekend

Ah yes jwil, Monday’s are bad. Also I find if it’s early for a BH and the weekend it means the mortgage and big payments sit in my account for longer before the dd’s go out (between 3rd and 5th) and that’s always a worry. Once my wage is in I want those suckers gone 😁
well we’ve made it to Tuesday and I’m calling NSD 15 today. That was my target, so I’m very pleased.
I want to bulk order the pet food, but am sticking it out until Friday so I can end the month with a completely clear credit card.
I finished the first Fox and O’Hare book and have nearly got to the end of the second. They are good, despite having no magic!

Wednesday already and creeping closer to the weekend and pay day. I have booked Friday off to celebrate 😁. It’s probably too early to crow, but I still have a zero balance cc, £200 EF and some (although not all) in the pots.  I’m so looking forward to the loans being gone, then I will be able to make a much safer emergency fund happen.
