I get the sterilised Labrador breed specific stuff, so it isn’t cheap. It’s supposed to help keep her weight down but then she has so many treats to compensate 🤣 I only need a large bag every other month as she won’t eat it dry and has to have some meat or something on top to tempt her, so she has a smaller amount of biscuits with meat twice a day ...and then snacks, and anything we are eating, anything the cats drop, grass, whatever she can snaffle...
The main cost is cat food pouches (they are fussy devils), Gourmet pate, cat biscuits, Dreamies and all the dog treats. I’ve got it down a lot though. At one time when I had even more cats it was £300 p.m. but through old age and illness the numbers have reduced. Luckily no more rescues have rocked up for a few years and the last 2 that did we managed to locate their homes. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Haha sounds like me when I try to lose weight - small meals and lots of snacks
We have only one cat that eats anything I put in his bowl and always joins the dog when he's having a meal. He's not 1yo yet and he's huge.01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0

I’ve had a pay day attack of spends...bought some bits on Amazon I’ve been sitting with in my basket for a while. Not great, but EF savings are moved, pots are filled, dd’s, fuel and a birthday present accounted for and I now have a strict £50 p.w. Spending money....wish me luck! Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Good luck 😊 I took the teens to Chester today. Lunch cost a fortune but I had that money to one side. They're going nowhere at my expense for the rest of the bank holiday though....4
