Yes so that was my question do I need to send each and every detail of expenses and receipts?0
-
If they have only asked you to confirm you have receipts don't send them yet. They will ask for them if they want them.
Just make sure you have receipts for everything you have claimed so you can send them if requested.
it would be better to enclose a covering letter quoting any reference numbers on the HMRC letter, saying you enclose the documents requested and can confirm you have receipts -assuming you do have receipts for everything.0 -
Thank you
this is what I am referring to and wasn’t sure if I should send it now? Yes I do have receipts.0 -

I filed my returns for last year a few days ago and wanted to double check/confirm does it take a few days to show tax owed?.
I saw an estimated amount before I submitted but it says "your balance - you have no tax to pay" on assessment page.0 -

I saw an estimated amount before I submitted but it says "your balance - you have no tax to pay" on assessment page. The message is correct as, at this point, no tax is indeed payable as it is not due until 31st January 2022. The account will be updated shortly before that date.1 -
