You'll either have to move it or find a different property if it's a problem
We are now back again looking for different properties.
We have done as much research to areas , prices and local facilities . This going to be retirement home. So down sizing. We ask questions to EA’s this time due to travel time etc. Plus check advert etc. The one bungalow that we like. When we asked today about washing machine. EA had to phone vendor to ask . This should be on description  etc ?

until it until I read you were looking for a retirement property I wondered if you were a first time buyer.

i think your expectations of an estate agent description are way too high.
When state  retirement property. We mean last property we will buy.
Yes we maybe wrong to think if , there is  garage with property . You can get a car into. Not unaccessible for a car to get into. EA’s are trying to sell a property and so give best features. Yet unless asked about garage in  advert . Details are not being informed.

Why would one expect a dish washer and/or washing machine when integrated appliances are mentioned ?

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.

    Bad practice?
A lot of people prefer to put washing machines in cupboards, bathrooms, or other spaces due to the noise they make.
If you like the property surely the current location of a washing machine isn't a deal breaker? You would just move it!
We looked at a 400 year old National Trust cottage to rent, the washing machine was in a stone built shed outside the main building.  If it rained both we and the washing would have got a bit wet  :D
