NSD 6. Spent the afternoon screwing in the snow outside - I have a bit more than half a raised bed. Stayed out as long as I could and then went back for the washing (had brought most of the first load in earlier). Bung it in the oven tea - not sure my hands were up to doing anything more elaborate (shoulders and hands are feeling it the most). Two bins out for collection.
Grateful for sunshine and light snowflakes - came in before the blizzard, for getting something done, for managing to be productive by plodding and making notes. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage5 -

Tuesday- NSD 4/16.
Another very cold day, more snow and high winds in between bursts of bright skies. DD has had a "screen ban" for most of the day- has meant her behaviour and attitude has been much better all day. Generally she is pretty good and internet access is restricted anyway but I've maybe been a bit too relaxed recently as there was a definite drift towards stropiness the last couple of days.
Grateful for effective heating, games with DD and a walk in the woods.7 -
Today I am grateful for a trip to the tip, for liddle bargains, for doing some more school prep, for getting dd's social calendar sorted, for booking both a gym slot on Mon and a mum slot on Friday of next week 😀.

Slept on the settee last night as hubby still not well. It's been 3 weeks now, so I phoned the Dr. She recommended rest & lots of fluids, which is what he's already doing.
Woke @6am,so after a hot drink, I did my exercises. Couldn't settle to much in the morning but I was tired & waiting for Dr to phone. Walked in the VERY strong face wind to the post office, was glad the wind was behind me on the way back!
Did the hand sewing on the other teddy in the afternoon. Had a phone call to say my new glasses were ready, so got my son to collect as he was in town. My first pair of varifocals, so far so good!
Grateful for new glasses, seeing a baby rabbit & a pied flycatcher in our snowy garden, & starting a new book.
Stay warm & cosy everyone, hope you feel better soon Mothernerd.Use it up, wear it out

This morning I am grateful that my dog got her dew claw removed by the vet, she looks dopey but happy. And I'm happy I'm at home to look after her, she's very clumsy with the collar on. I grateful I have been able to sort out maintenance on my car, vet bill and order my first passport without dipping into emergency fund, so far anyways.
Need to catch up on reading.
I am still moving my plants in and out and I can't decide where to plant what!
But last night I forgot to cover an arum lilly I have, that dies every year in late frost as is quite delicate. I really need a green house for more delicate plants.
Off on my first club run this afternoon, can't wait.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Morning Turtles,
Not quite sure why but yesterday felt tough. Many a thought of a takeaway, but did not yield! I think I really do need some property time off. The Easter weekend did not feel long enough! But I guess that won't be happening until I have finished my University course. I really did take on too much, new job and another professional qualification. Anyway, just stay kind to yourself DrCarrie!

Hello lovely turtles. I managed to exercise and meditate and eat relatively well yesterday. Today I walked around an hour round trip to the dentist…Not an NSD as paid for a cleaning, so still on NSD 1.
Have been saying goodbye to my private students this week which is quite sad. It feels almost like I’m breaking up with them!
Grateful for lovely students, for strong tomato seedlings, for no nasty surprises at the dentist.
