@propertyhunter I know I’ve really managed to squeeze a lot into a short space of time! Thanks, that’s encouraging to hear! Mine is removing an association that has bad credit so they see that as a risk!@Deleted_User I just checked the intermediaries website again and it still says 13 working days for residential employed to be checked. Hopefully next week is our week!!1

So our valuation happened on Thursday. News from my broker:
The lender has confirmed the valuation is booked for today. We must allow up to 1-2 days after the valuation for the lender to receive the report and another 1-2 days for the underwriter to review it. However, response times for this portion can vary.
This weekend is going to be looooooong!🥺0 -
Let’s hope today is the big day!1

My broker just told me that the EWS1 form is still with HSBC surveyor since last Monday. I don't understand why they wait until over 2 weeks before requesting/submitting the form if they know they will need it and it will take this long to review surely the credit checks, affordability check, valuation check and EWS1 form checks are done by different departments so they can do them at the same time rather than wait around and do them one by one. Especially if rejection rate is not super high surely it would improve efficiency not to wait around for each check to be done before moving on to the next0
