@popsicle95 Thank you so much! Fingers crossed for you, hope your Experian record get sorted out soon or HSBC doesn't care about it, either way I really hope things work out for you soon! Really hate the wait!0

I have been following this thread and was waiting for MSE to approve my registration.
Its been quite tense just like all of you.
We submitted our application through a MB on the 10th of Feb.
We have heard that the valuation came back to HSBC on the 18th.
MB said that HSBC have advised that the underwriters will look at our application in 3-4 days times (this was 22nd)
There have been no credit checks run on both of our profiles. It is so nerve-racking. Hoping to hear some positive news soon0 -
Are you looking via Experian?
It shows up straight away pretty much maybe a day after!0 -
Surreysoon said:We had searched mortgages via Habito, London & Country and a 'real' broker. Found the HSBC one, read up on people's reviews and decided to go with applying to HSBC directly but to book a mortgage appointment too which was luckily available the next day. So our timeline overall is:
22 Jan 2022 first viewing
26 Jan 2022 second viewing
01 Feb 2022 offer accepted
07 Feb 2022 mortgage application submitted
08 Feb 2022 mortgage appointment and application routed to underwriter (desktop valuation happened in parallel)
11 Feb 2022 mortgage application status changed ready for offer
now not sure what exactly ready to offer means but fingers crossed
We're now in the process of figuring out insurances etc and waiting for the vendor to find a house.
Keeping fingers crossed for everyone!0 -

I've just got the text and email come through with our mortgage offer.
Suprisingly I've checked Clearscore, totallymoney and experian and see no checks run. It ma show up tomorrow I guess.
We had one run last month by nationwide and it showed pretty much the same day.1 -
Just had my mortgage offer!! The relief! 🎉 thankfully it was not reliant on Experian in the end because that was a nightmare! It took 11 working days for HSBC to process after the full application was done.
Sharing my timeline for others still waiting:7th Jan - DIP with Nationwide
15th Jan - house viewing
17th Jan - offer accepted
20th Jan - full mortgage application
3rd Feb - mortgage offer declined (because of a financial connection I had on my report (I wasn’t aware of this))
7th Feb - DIP agreed with HSBC, ID and soft search appeared on credit report
8th Feb - asked Experian to remove the financial connection (as there are no shared finances) - was told this would take up to 7 days
10th Feb - full mortgage application with HSBC and HSBC ‘first mortgage’ footprint on credit report
19th Feb - chased Experian
21st Feb - chased Experian and was told they had no record of disassociation and applied again
23rd Feb - notice of correction was added by Experian and was asked to do the disassociation application AGAIN!
24th Feb - HSBC mortgage offer received!
